aerial and ground shelling target the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus killing and injuring 100 people, one-third of them are killed and injured in 2 massacres in Arbin and Sawa.

Rif Dimashq province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: warplanes renewed targeting areas on the besieged Eastern Ghouta of Damascus,  and the SOHR monitored s squadron of 3 warplanes changing with a similar squadron after finishing their loads of death shells, where the SOHR monitored a raid targeting a market in Beit Sawa town, causing a massacre claiming the lives of 7 citizens, while more than 28 others were injured with different severity, including children and women, the warplanes also targeted areas in Douma city by one raid, injuring about 10 people, in conjunction with shelling of the regime forces on areas in the city of Douma, while the warplanes carried out 2 raids on areas in the city of Hamuriya, killing a citizens and injuring 8 others, in conjunction with a raid targeting areas in the town of Ein Tarma, injuring 5 citizens including a woman, while the warplanes shelled areas in the town of Hazza, killing a child and injuring 13 others with different severity, while it rose to at least 15, the number of airstrikes that targeted areas in the city of Arbin, killing 5 citizens and injuring 18 others with different severity.

With the increasing number of civilian martyrs, it rises the death toll to 272 citizens including 66 children and 44 citizen women, since the 29th of December 2017 as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 154 citizens including 45 children, 33 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin, and 118 citizens including 21 children and 11 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah, Otaya and Mesraba.
