More causalities raise the death toll in the Eastern Ghouta rises to 38 martyrs including 17 children and women who were killed in heavy airstrikes

Rif Dimashq province – the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: the number of causalities is still increasing in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and with more people dying, due to the inability of medical stuff in the Ghouta of saving them as a result of shortage of medicines, treatment and necessary medical equipment, where it has increased to 38 persons at least including 10 children and 7 citizen women, the number of casualties who were killed today Thursday the 8th of February 2018, they are 17 citizens including 6 children and 3 citizen women who were killed in a massacre carried out in Jisrayn town, 6 citizens including a child, who were killed in massacre caused by airstrikes on Hamuriyah city, 5 citizens including a child and a reliever who were killed in raids on Arbin city,4 citizens including 3 women who were killed in bombardment on the area between Madyara and Mesraba, 3 citizens they are 2 children and a citizen woman were killed in raids on areas in Saqba city, 3 citizens were killed in raids on the towns of Beit Sawa and Hazza, and a citizen was killed in raids on Zamalka, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of more than 135 injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, and the rescue teams are still working on extracting the stuck people under the rubble of the destruction caused by the bombardment, amid difficulties to save the lives of the injuries as a result of the lack of medicine and equipment needed as well as the increase of the number of injuries greatly. Warplanes shelled places in the area located between Zamlka and Jouber, causing material damage, while the regime forces shelled by 6 missiles belived to be ground-t-ground at areas in the outskirts of Harasta city

Thus, the death toll has increased to 444 citizens including 112 children and 77 citizen women, who have been killed since the 29th of December 2017, as a result of targeting the Eastern Ghouta by hundreds of raids and hundreds of artillery and rocket strikes, and the casualties are 321 citizens including 91 children, 65 citizen women and a male nurse, they were killed in raids by the warplanes on areas in Harasta city controlled by the Islamic movement of Ahrar Al-Sham and raids on Madyara town as well as the cities of Saqba, Hamouriyah, Douma and Arbin, and 123 citizens including 21 children and 12 citizen women and 2 male nurses were killed by artillery and rocket shelling targeted areas in Beit Sawa town, the cities of Harasta, Hamuriya, Douma and Arbin as well as the towns of Kafr Batna, Mesraba, Al-Nashabiyah, Otaya and Jisrayn.
