The regime forces take the control of a circle of 80 villages and ISIS expands in Idlib countryside after reaching it through a corridor granted to the organization by the regime

The regime forces with their allies end again the presence of the organization in Hama and Aleppo provinces

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored wide advancement by the regime forces which enabled them to end the presence of the “Islamic State” organization again in two provinces, but this organization re-created its presence in a province where it lost its presence about 4 years ago, before it came to find a place where it can be located few weeks ago, and the SOHR monitored that the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, managed to impose their control over the entire besieged circle within Hama and Aleppo countryside, thus, they imposed their control over more than 80 villages during a week of advancement which accompanied by successive withdrawals and collapses of the members of the organization.

Intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the withdrawal of the organization took place through undeclared deal, represented by the withdrawal of the organization completely from the villages of the southern countryside of Aleppo and the north-eastern countryside of Hama, in return for securing a withdrawal line that leads the organization to the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, specifically Umm Elkhalayel and Al-Lubaydah areas in the south-east of Idlib province, thus, the organization’s fight turned from being against the regime forces and their allies, to a direct fight against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and the rebel and Islamic factions operating in Idlib countryside, where the fighting which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that it raged in early morning of Friday the 9th of February 2018, is accompanied by the flight of warplanes whose identity is not known whether they were Russian or related to the regime, which target the clash areas between the both parties in conjunction with bombing areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the organization managed to advance in the area in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the regime forces managed to achieve new wide advancement, in conjunction with intensive aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the areas, in an attempt to end the presence of the organization in the area, and during the last week, they took the control ten of villages, approaching in every time to confine the organization within small pockets which would force him to surrender to the attacking forces of the regime and their allies, while it is noteworthy that ISIS used to control at least 79 villages in the countryside of three adjacent provinces, Idlib, Aleppo and Hama, which bring back ISIS to the province, it lost its full control of them on the 30th of June 2017, where they managed to control several villages in the province of Aleppo, and thus its presence returned in the 3 province, which are Idlib, of which it was expelled to about 4 years, Hama province, which its presence was ended in the third part 2017, and Aleppo province, of which it was expelled at the mid of 2017, within 4 consecutive months, since the beginning of October 2017.
