With the participation of helicopters for the first time in the skies of Ghouta with the warplanes… about 120 raids, missiles and shells kill and injure about 70 citizens in it since morning

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the skies of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus is witnessing flight of warplanes and reconnaissance, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the participation of helicopter within the military operations in the Eastern Ghouta, as helicopters were observed flying simultaneously over the area, in conjunction with renewing the bombardment on Al-Shiffuniyya, raising to 7 at least, the number of the raids which have targeted areas in Al-Shiffuniyya town and its vicinity since morning, which resulted in the fall of wounded, and the Syrian Observatory monitored that the ground shelling re-escalated for the second consecutive day, where the regime forces targeted areas in Saqba city by more than 50 missiles, which resulted in the death of 3 citizens including a woman as well as the injury of 17 others with varying severity, and the regime forces targeted Al-Shiffuniyya town city by more than 26 artillery shells, while the warplanes targeted areas in Jisrayn town which resulted in the death of 3 citizens and the injury of 20 others with varying severity, while the regime forces fired 10 shells on areas in Otaya town in Al-Marj area, which injured 3 citizens, coincided with 4 raids on Otaya town leaving 8 wounded, while the regime forces shelled areas in Kafr Batna by two batches of missiles, which resulted in the injury of 10 citizens, thus, the death toll has increased to 23 citizens including 5 children and 4 citizen women, who were killed in the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on several areas in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus during the past 24 hours.

And the today’s shelling and bombardment come as a part of the resumption of the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the warplanes and the regime forces, on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, within a preparation for the start of a military operation by the regime forces led by the Brigadier General Suhail Hasan, aka “The Tiger”, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the calm is coincided with the continuation of the talks about the Eastern Chouta, in order to reach an agreement between the factions operation in the Eastern Ghouta and supervising it, and the regime’s authorities with a Russian mediation, while the talks are taking place in conjunction with ongoing mobilizations in the vicinity of the besieged Ghouta, by the regime forces and their allies, in order to carry out a wide operation in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, under the command of the Brigadier in the regime forces, Suhail Al-Hassan, known as the “Tiger”, who led the battle during which the organization was expelled from Aleppo, the Syrian desert and the west of the Euphrates, and fought previously against the rebel and Islamic factions, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from a number of reliable sources, that if the talks and negotiations failed to achieve “reconciliation” in the Eastern Ghouta, then, about 8000 Chinese troops will be brought to participate in the military operations in Rif Dimashq, in order to control the Eastern Ghouta, and secure the vicinity of the capital Damascus, where bringing the Chinese soldiers is associated with the failure of negotiations about the Eastern Ghouta, and it is noteworthy that the Russian forces officially took part in the military operations in Syria on the 30th of September 2015, in the regime’s side by air and land, and the Turkish forces officially entered Syria on the 24th of August 2016, while the International Coalition officially entered and participated in the military operations in Syria on the 23rd of September 2014.
