During the ongoing negotiations about the Eastern Ghouta… Russia refuses the offer that provides for getting Tahrir Al-Sham out of it in return for stopping the attack and warns the larges factions in the Eastern Ghouta to evacuate its cities and towns

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from reliable sources, confirmed that the negotiations are still continuing between the Russian side on one hand, and representatives of Jaysh Al-Islam, Al-Rahman Corps and other opposition parties on the other, about the military operation intended to be carried out in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the preliminary shelling witnessed in the area, and the humanitarian situation in the Eastern Ghouta, and the source told the Syrian Observatory that the Russian side informed the representatives of Jaysh Al-Islam, Al-Rahman Corps and the other opposition parties, that the Eastern Ghouta should be evacuated of citizens, and warned them about the military operation which will be carried out in the area, by the regime forces and their supporting forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus.

The sources also confirmed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that the Russian side refused the offer of Jaysh Al-Islam, Al-Rahman Corps and the other opposition parties, which provides for getting Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham out of the Eastern Ghouta completely, asserting that the regime forces led by the Brigadier Suhail Al-Hassan backed by Russia, will enter the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus to impose there control over it and secure the vicinity of the capital Damascus even more, and the sources confirmed the SOHR that the negotiations are still continuing in an attempt by the opposition parties to reach an agreement about the Eastern Ghouta which witnessed during the past 5 days, intensive aerial, artillery and rocket shelling by about 3836 raids, missiles, explosive barrels and shells, where the warplanes carried out about 564 airstrikes, while the regime’s helicopters dropped more than 219 explosive barrels, and the regime forces shelled the besieged Ghouta by more than 2067 missiles, in conjunction with shelling by about 986 artillery shelling, which resulted in the death of

417 citizens including 96 children and 61 women, since Sunday evening the 18th of February 2018, and the casualties are: 60 citizens including 8 children and 7 citizen women who were killed in bombardment by warplanes on areas in Aftries town and Douma and Arbin cities, 85 citizens including 20 children and 12 women, were killed on Wednesday in bombardment by helicopters by explosive barrels on Kafr Batna town and airstrikes on Jesrin town and raids on Saqba, 128 citizens including 29 children and 16 women were killed on Tuesday, in the shelling on the areas of Nashabiyah, Otaya, Arbin, Zamalka Mesraba, Hamuriya, Saqba and Ash’ari, 127 citizens including 34 children and 23 women were killed on Monday, in the aerial and ground bombardment on Hamuriya, Beit Sawa and Saqba, Douma , Mesraba, Otaya, Nashabiyah, Zamalka, Aftries, KafrBatna, Al-Shifonyyah and Jesrin, 17 citizens including 5 children and 3 women were killed on the evening of Sunday, in aerial, missile and artillery bombardments on Saqba, Mesraba, Otaya and Ashari area. 

And the renewed bombardment resulted in increasing the number of wounded to more than 2116 civilians, while there are tens of missing people under the rubble caused by the rocket, artillery and aerial shelling on the cities and town in the Eastern Ghouta, which may increase the death toll, in addition to the presence of a large number of injuries, some of them have serious injuries, amid inability of the medical staff to relieve all medical cases.
