Clashes continue in the southeastern front of the besieged Ghouta with renewed aerial bombardment

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the clashes continue at a violent pace in Hosh Al-Dawahra in Al-Marj area, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against Jaysh al-Islam, accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting in a continuous attempt by the regime forces to control the area after advancing in it in the morning, while the aerial bombardment continues on areas in the Eastern Ghouta, and the Syrian Observatory monitored this evening the warplanes carrying out 8 raids on places in al-Shifonyyah and Hosh al-Dawahra, and 2 raids on Otaya town and 4 raids on areas in Arbin, Zamalka, Beit Sawa and Madyara, the regime forces also targeted by about 100 rocket shells areas in Hosh of al-Dawahra, Hazrma, al-Nashabiyah and al-Shifonyyah, and the regime forces bombed again areas in Harasta city, where they targeted the area by more than 14 missile believed to be ground-to-ground, while a person was killed as a result of the fall of a shell launched by the regime forces on this evening on places in Otaya town, raising to 9 including a child, the number of citizens killed today, Wednesday, outside of the truce time, and the casualties are 3 citizens were killed in bombardment by warplanes before the time of the truce today morning, Wednesday, and the rest of them were killed after the time of the truce, and they are a member of the Civil Defense who was killed in air raids on Otaya and a man was killed in the fall of a shell on Otaya, and 3 citizens were killed in 2 raids by warplanes on areas in Beit Sawa, and a child was killed in bombardment by warplanes on areas in Harasta city.

Raising to 602 citizens including 147 children and 88 women, the number of the civilian casualties who have been killed by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling and bombardment by explosive barrels on the Eastern Ghouta, since Sunday evening the 18th of February 2018, among them there are 67 casualties including 19 children and 12 women were killed after the resolution of the UN Security Council, and the casualties are: 9 citizens including a child and a member of the Civil Defense were killed in bombardment by warplanes on Beit Sawa, Harasta, Otaya and Douma outside the time of the truce, 7 citizens including 2 children and a woman who were killed yesterday Tuesday, in aerial and artillery shelling on Mesraba, Jesrin and Douma; and they are the people who were killed during the first 2 days of Putin’s “truce”, 34 citizens including 11 children and 7 women who were killed on Monday in the aerial and rocket shelling on Douma and Harasta and the area between Mesraba and Beit Sawa, 18 citizens including 5 children under the age of eighteen and 4 women were killed Sunday, in shelling by the regime forces and bombardment by warplanes on areas in Douma, al-Shifonyyah, Saqba, Beit Sawa, Hammuriyyeh and al-Rihan, and 53 citizens including 8 children and 9 women were killed on Saturday by bombardment by warplanes on Harasta, Douma, Zamalka, Beit Sawa and Al-Shifonyyah, 43 citizens including 18 children and 4 women were killed on Friday, 74 citizens including 9 children and 8 citizen women who were killed on Thursday in bombardment by warplanes on areas in Mesraba and Aftries towns and Douma and Arbin cities, 87 citizens including 21 children and 12 women, were killed on Wednesday in bombardment by helicopters by explosive barrels on Kafr Batna town and airstrikes on Jesrin town and raids on Saqba, 133 citizens including 33 children and 17 women were killed on Tuesday, in the shelling on the areas of Nashabiyah, Otaya, Arbin, Zamalka Mesraba, Hamuriya, Saqba and Ash’ari, 127 citizens including 34 children and 23 women were killed on Monday, in the aerial and ground bombardment on Hamuriya, Beit Sawa and Saqba, Douma , Mesraba, Otaya, Nashabiyah, Zamalka, Aftries, KafrBatna, Al-Shifonyyah and Jesrin, 17 citizens including 5 children and 3 women were killed on the evening of Sunday, while the aerial and artillery shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of injuries, some of them are still in serious cases, which may raise the death toll.
