The regime forces continue their attack achieving more advancement in the besieged Eastern Ghouta and more casualties raise the death toll to about 630 civilians killed by the shelling escalation in 13 days

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of violent clashes, between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against fighters of Jaysh al-Islam, in areas in the eastern and southeastern sectors of the Eastern Ghouta, in continuous attack by the regime forces within their quest to control the Eastern Ghouta, since the start of their operation which was started on the ground on the 25th of February 2018, the Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces achieving a new advancement in the south of al-Shifonyyah area and they took control of a battalion in the area, increasing their advancement in the Eastern Ghouta after controlling  Hosh al-Zriqah, Hosh al-Dawahra and other sites in the Eastern Ghouta, the clashes, which was accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting between both parties, have caused confirmed casualties in the ranks of them both, where the Syrian observatory published hours ago that it has increased to 53 at least including a local commander in the “Tiger’s” forces, the number of the members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them whose death has been documented by the Syrian Observatory until now during the clashes of the Eastern Ghouta, since the 25th of February 2018, until today the first of March 2018, while it has increased to 29 fighters at least of Jaysh Al-Islam were killed in the same fighting, and the clashes resulted in the fall of wounded and captives in the ranks of the regime forces as well as the injury of fighters in the ranks of Jaysh Al-Islam in the same clashes.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of artillery, missile and aerial shelling on Hazrama, Harasta, al-Marj and serval other areas in the Eastern Ghouta, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 7 citizens including 2 women in the aerial and missile shelling on Douma area in the Eastern Ghouta, raising to 11 including a child and 2 women, the number of people who were killed today outside the time of the truce in Douma, Beit Sawa, Mesraba and Hazrama, raising to 628 citizens including 151 children and 92 women, who have been killed by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling and bombardment by explosive barrels on the Eastern Ghouta, since Sunday evening the 18th of February 2018, among them there are 94 casualties including 23 children and 16 women were killed after the resolution of the UN Security Council, and the casualties are: 11 including a child and 2 women were killed today, Friday, outside the time of the truce in Douma, Beit Sawa, Mesraba and Hazrama, 15 citizens including, a man and a child, a man and his wife and another woman citizens who were killed yesterday, Thursday, in aerial shelling on Al-Marj area, Kafr Batna and Hamuriya, 9 citizens including a child and a member of the Civil Defense were killed in bombardment by warplanes on Beit Sawa, Harasta, Otaya and Douma outside the time of the truce, 7 citizens including 2 children and a woman who were killed yesterday Tuesday, in aerial and artillery shelling on Mesraba, Jesrin and Douma; and they are the people who were killed during the first 2 days of Putin’s “truce”, 34 citizens including 11 children and 7 women who were killed on Monday in the aerial and rocket shelling on Douma and Harasta and the area between Mesraba and Beit Sawa, 18 citizens including 5 children under the age of eighteen and 4 women were killed Sunday, in shelling by the regime forces and bombardment by warplanes on areas in Douma, al-Shifonyyah, Saqba, Beit Sawa, Hammuriyyeh and al-Rihan, and 53 citizens including 8 children and 9 women were killed on Saturday by bombardment by warplanes on Harasta, Douma, Zamalka, Beit Sawa and Al-Shifonyyah, 43 citizens including 18 children and 4 women were killed on Friday, 74 citizens including 9 children and 8 citizen women who were killed on Thursday in bombardment by warplanes on areas in Mesraba and Aftries towns and Douma and Arbin cities, 87 citizens including 21 children and 12 women, were killed on Wednesday in bombardment by helicopters by explosive barrels on Kafr Batna town and airstrikes on Jesrin town and raids on Saqba, 133 citizens including 33 children and 17 women were killed on Tuesday, in the shelling on the areas of Nashabiyah, Otaya, Arbin, Zamalka Mesraba, Hamuriya, Saqba and Ash’ari, 127 citizens including 34 children and 23 women were killed on Monday, in the aerial and ground bombardment on Hamuriya, Beit Sawa and Saqba, Douma , Mesraba, Otaya, Nashabiyah, Zamalka, Aftries, KafrBatna, Al-Shifonyyah and Jesrin, 17 citizens including 5 children and 3 women were killed on the evening of Sunday, while the aerial and artillery shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of injuries, some of them are still in serious cases, which may raise the death toll.
