The fighting rages in Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside within the abolition war and 16 fighters at least of Tahrir Al-Sham captured in the clash areas

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the clashes are continuing within the ongoing abolition war for the 14th consecutive day between the major factions of the Syrian North, where violent clashes have been taking place since this dawn between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham against Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement, in the east of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city and the vicinity of the areas of Tell Mannas and Maar Shamarin in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, and intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the both parties used heavy weapons in the exchange of targeting between them, which raged the resentment of the citizens about targeting areas inhabited by citizens under the pretext of the fighting between the both parties, while the clashes this dawn resulted in the fall of confirmed human losses in the ranks of the both parties, in addition to capturing 16 persons at least, the sources said that they are fighter of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and they were captured in the fighting in the front of Maar Shamarin.

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 223 fighters at least of the conflicting parties in Idlib and Aleppo, where 132 members at least of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement in the western countryside of Aleppo, and against Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham in Idlib countryside, and 91 fighters of Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement ,Ahrar Al-Sham and Soqur Al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of a large number of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, in addition to information about other casualties the SOHR is not able to document so far, while the SOHR documented since the start of fighting on the 20th of February 2018, the death of 18 citizens including 7 children and 5 women, as a result of shelling and random shootings in the countryside of both Aleppo and Idlib.

 

And the Syrian Observatory published two days ago that Ahrar Al-Sham managed to advance and take the control of the villages of Arnabah, Sfuhen, Ayn La Rose, Al-Ftireh and Al-Mozra, and in the western section of Aleppo countryside, violent clashes took place after the midnight of Friday – Saturday, between Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in the vicinity of Darat Izza, in an attack carried out by Tahrir Al-Sham on the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Friday that the war of abolition is still ongoing between the major factions of the Syrian north operating in the western part of Aleppo countryside and Idlib province, where the SOHR obtained a copy of a video showing a commander in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, called “Abu Al-Yaqazan Al-Masri”, a commander of the rebel attack of Tahrir Al-Sham, while he was delivering a speech to a group of fighters of the Hayyaat during the fighting  and saying that “O, People of Al-Sham, Allah has honored you to witness the fighting against the Americans, the Russians, the apostates of Bashar Army, those who spread corruption in the lands, the Khawarij, and the corrupts. The end is near and the ranks are becoming clear, and the fighting will continue until this area turns back to a battlefield against the infidels. Noor Al-Din Al-Zenki Movement didn’t open a new battlefront and it sent 40 fighters to a position in Skaik area, but they withdrew after 10 days. The weapons were obtained to be used in Jihad and kept stored for a year and will come out to be used in Jihad, tanks, tracked vehicles, warehouses of Ahrar Al-Sham became under our control and the Jihad in the Levant is a faith, don’t lose it”. This speech came in conjunction with repel attacks by Tahrir Al-Sham, through which they managed to control at least 25 villages, areas and towns with the support of the Islamic Turkestan Party in the northern countryside of Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo.
