Shells target places in the outskirts of the capital Damascus again

Damascus Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: several explosions were heard in the vicinity of al-Assad District near Harasta city, and Jaramana area controlled by the regime forces, caused by the fall of several mortar shells on areas in the district, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published during the past 24 hours, that more shells fell after the midnight of Tuesday – Wednesday, on the outskirts of the capital Damascus, where several shells fell on places in Dahiyat al-Assad, without information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that it documented the death of 4 citizens including a child and 2 women, in addition to the injury of about 14 others with varying severity, as a result of targeting areas in regime forces’ controlled suburb of Jaramana, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, raising to raising to 127 persons at least including 20 children and 16 citizen women, who were killed as a result of the fall of these shells since the beginning of escalation on the capital Damascus and its suburbs on the 16th of November, and the SOHR documented the injury of more than 685 persons who were injured in these daily targeting during 3 consecutive months, including tens of children and citizen women, some of whom have seriously injured and have permanent disability, and the SOHR also monitored the continuation of the poor health condition of some of the injured people, which may raise the death toll.
