Pulling more bodies and the death of 24 new civilians raise to more than 1000 the number of civilians who were killed in 3 weeks of aerial and ground escalation on the Eastern Ghouta

About 70 citizens remain unaccounted for under the ruins in Hamouriyah city and Mesraba town as a result of heavy shelling on the area

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the warplanes bombed areas in Arbin city in conjunction with dropping barrel bombs on areas in the city, amid missile shelling on the area, the warplanes also carried out 8 raids on areas in Madyara town also the helicopters dropped barrel bombs on the town, while the regime forces shelled areas in the town by tens of rocket shells, also the number of civilians who were killed in the Eastern Ghouta keeps increasing, as a result of pulling more corpses from beneath the ruins of destruction caused by the bombardment of warplanes on areas in Douma city, the stronghold of Jaysh al-Islam in the Ghouta, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that 17 citizens including 6 children and 8 citizens (mostly from 3 families) were recovered from under the ruins of destruction caused by bombardment of warplanes on Friday on Douma city, while a child died affected by injury he had in shelling by warplanes a few days ago on Harasta city, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of 6 citizens including a woman in the bombardment by warplanes on Harasta city, raising to 8, they are: 6 casualties in Harasta and 2 in Arbin, the number of persons  who were killed today in shelling on the Eastern Ghouta, while more than 35 persons of several families are still under the rubble of destruction caused by aerial bombardment on Mesraba town, which was controlled by the regime forces hours ago, also more than 30 civilians are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial bombardment on Hamouriyah city days ago, and the rescue teams were not able to recover them until now.

And with the death of more civilians it rose to 1022 Syrian civilians in the Eastern Ghouta, including 219 children and 145 women, who have been killed in 21 days by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyah, Jesrin, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Ash’ari, Nashabiyah, Aftries, Otaya, Al-Shifonyyah, Al-Marj area, Mesraba, Madyara, Beit Sawa, and other areas in the besieged Ghouta of Damascus, resulted in the injury of more than 4378 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women with varying severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, while the bodies of tens of citizens are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the total death toll documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, includes 470 casualties including 74 children and 62 women who were killed and documented by the SOHR after the resolution of the UNSC, which failed again to stop the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta, and the shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of wounded, where the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries, amid the tragic humanitarian situation of the people of Ghouta, who intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that they do not leave the shelters for fear of the intensive shelling, amid inability of the medical staff to relieve all medical cases.
