With the continuation of the violent clashes in the Eastern Ghouta… the number of casualties increases to more than 1100 citizens including 381 children and women during 22 days of the escalation

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the aerial and rocket shelling renewed targeting the Eastern Ghouta, where the warplanes and the regime forces targeted areas in Harasta city and its vicinity by tens of missiles, shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with bombardment which targeted other areas in the Eastern Ghouta, where the warplanes carried out 6 raids on areas in Zamalka city, which resulted in the death of 3 citizens, while it has increased to 44, the number of raids that targeted areas in Arbin, which resuted in the injury of 15 citizens, amid violent clashes between the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against Jaysh Al-Islam and Al-Rahman Corps, in areas in the vicinity of the Vehicle Department, the western farms of Mesraba, the vicinity of Madyara town, Aftries farms and Jisrayn farms, in a new attack by the regime forces under a cover of intensive shelling, in an attempt to advance and expand their scope of control and reach the Vehicle Department, amid exchange of targeting in the clash areas between the both parties.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 3 citizens as a result of intensive raids carried out by warplanes on areas in Arbin city, raising to 1105, the number of the Syrian civilians whose death was documented by the Syrian Observatory in the Eastern Ghouta, including 227 children and 154 women, who have been killed in 21 days by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyah, Jesrin, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Ash’ari, Nashabiyah, Aftries, Otaya, Al-Shifonyyah, Al-Marj area, Mesraba, Madyara, Beit Sawa, and other areas in the besieged Ghouta of Damascus, resulted in the injury of more than 4378 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women with varying severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, while the bodies of tens of citizens are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the total death toll documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, includes 573 casualties including 86 children and 71 women who were killed and documented by the SOHR after the resolution of the UNSC, which failed again to stop the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta, and the shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of wounded, where the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries, amid the tragic humanitarian situation of the people of Ghouta, who intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that they do not leave the shelters for fear of the intensive shelling, amid inability of the medical staff to relieve all medical cases.
