About 40 casualties killed by Russian warplanes today in the Eastern Ghouta, and prior to the ceasefire’s entry into force, aerial and missile bombardment target the southwest enclave which is under the control of Rahman Corps in the Eastern Ghouta.

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: at least 40 raids carried out by warplanes on Thursday evening, targeting places in Zamalka city located in the southwestern enclave in the Eastern Ghouta, followed by several raids on areas in Arbin, also the regime forces shelled places in Ein Tarma, Zamalka and Hazza, while clashes are taking place in places in Arbin and Ein Tarma, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and Rahman Corps, accompanied by exchange of shelling and targeting, and in the same context, the ceasefire agreement is expected to enter into force in the middle of today night, in the area that is under the control of Rahman Corps in the Eastern Ghouta, after an agreement between the Russians and Rahman Corps, unless there are impediments that may cause the collapse of this agreement, also a delegation from Rahman Corps is expected to get out tomorrow to negotiate the Russians in the same agreement.

In the same context, the Syrian Observatory documented the exit of more than 8600 civilians from Douma city which is under the control of Jaysh al-Islam in the northern enclave in the Eastern Ghouta; on Wednesday and Thursday through the al-Wafedin camp crossing towards areas controlled by the regime forces, while it rose to 38, the number of casualties documented by the Syrian Observatory today in the Eastern Ghouta, and the casualties are: one person was killed in aerial and missile bombardment on Douma, and 25 casualties including women and children were killed in shelling by warplanes on Zamalka, and 10 people including 3 children and 2 women were killed in aerial bombardment on Ein Tarma, and 3 were killed in aerial bombardment on Arbin, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the rise in death toll came after the death of more injured people, reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that their injuries were not serious but they died because of the difficulty of treating them and its delay for hours; due to the difficult medical conditions in the area.

Where it rose to 1584 Syrian civilians including 327 children and 197 women, who have been killed since the 18th of February 2018, by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyah, Jesrin, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Ash’ari, Nashabiyah, Aftries, Otaya, Al-Shifonyyah, Al-Marj area, Mesraba, Madyara, Beit Sawa, and other areas in the besieged Ghouta of Damascus, resulted in the injury of more than 5400 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women with varying severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, while the bodies of tens of citizens are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the total death toll documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, includes 1052 casualties including 186 children and 114 women who were killed and documented by the SOHR after the resolution of the UNSC, which failed again to stop the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta, and the shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of wounded, where the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
