The death toll of Arbin massacre increased to about 1650 civilians including 557 children and women killed by aerial and ground shelling on the Ghouta

Rif Dimashq province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:: although the killing machine has stopped in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus as result of the ongoing negotiation with Jaish Al-Islam in Douma, and the implementation of agreement with Al-Rahaman Corps to exit towards the Syrian north, and exit of fighters and commanders of Ahrar Al-Sham with their families and civilians rejecting the agreement on Harasta city. the death toll is still increasing, as result of recovering more dead bodies and death of other people, where it has increased to at least 44, the number of martyrs who were documented by the SOHR in the massacre carried out by warplanes on Thursday the 22nd of March 2018,. The casualties are 17 children and 13 women including 3 pregnant women, and 14 men, most of them are from one family, and they were all killed in a massacre in Arbin city carried out by airstrikes on the 22nd of March 2018.

Thus, it rose to 1644 Syrian civilians including 344 children and 213 women, who have been killed since the 18th of February 2018, by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyah, Jesrin, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Ash’ari, Nashabiyah, Aftries, Otaya, Al-Shifonyyah, Al-Marj area, Mesraba, Madyara, Beit Sawa, and other areas in the besieged Ghouta of Damascus, resulted in the injury of more than 5420 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women with varying severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, while the bodies of tens of citizens are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the total death toll documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, includes 1112 casualties including 203 children and 130 women who were killed and documented by the SOHR after the resolution of the UNSC, which failed again to stop the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta, and the shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of wounded, where the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of serious injuries.
