After killing about 50 civilians, suffocation in aerial bombardment targeted north of Douma city in the Eastern Ghouta

Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: several intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that 11 people at least including 5 children had suffocated, after bombardment by a warplane on an area near the old cemetery at the northern outskirts of Douma city in the Eastern Ghouta, this bombardment comes within the continuous shelling by the regime forces, warplanes and helicopters on Douma city, which is still under the control of Jaysh al-Islam, while the clashes continue between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against Jaysh al-Islam in areas at the vicinity of the area, amid air and ground targeting of the area, in an attempt to achieve more advancement and confine Jaysh al-Islam in a narrower range.

The Syrian Observatory documented today the death of 8 persons at least and the injury of others with varying severity, as a result of bombardment by warplanes and the fall of barrel bombs on areas in Douma city and its outskirts, which raised the number of people who have been killed since yesterday to 48 civilian casualties –including 8 children and 6 women–, as a result of the continuous aerial bombardment on Douma, in conjunction with shelling by the regime forces on areas at the outskirts of Douma.
