Tens of buses arrive to Al-Wafddien crossing and preparations to implement the release of abductees and implement the last displacement in the Eastern Ghouta

Rif Dimashq province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights::The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that after recent negotiations took place between Jaysh Al-Islam on one hand and the Russian side and representative of the regime on the other in the outskirts of Douma in the Eastern Ghouta, preparations are ongoing to implement the agreement which was revive, where the first group of abductees captured by Jaysh al-Islam is expected to be released in the coming hours, where the preparations are coincided with the exit of  those refusing the agreement to the Syrian north. The sources stressed that the destination are still Al-Bab and Jarabulus, which are controlled by the rebel and Islamic factions operating in the “Shield of Euphrates” Operation forces.The entry of buses to Al-Wafdeen comes in the preparation of to implement the exit, where tens of buses have arrived to Al-Wafdeen crossing area to implement the agreement.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that learned from a number of reliable sources that the negotiations which took place today, Sunday the 8th of April 2018, between Jaysh Al-Islam and representatives of the Russian side, led to the revival of the old agreement between the both parties, which based on the release of thousands of abductees and captives arrested by Jaysh Al-Islam, and the departure of those who reject the agreement towards the Syrian North, where it is expected that practical steps will be carried out in the next few hours, after the military operations and shelling had stopped on Douma city which witnessed bloody massacres in the past two days, which left hundreds of casualties and wounded, and which were coincided with violent attack by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities in places in the vicinity of Douma area, through which the regime forces managed to achieve advancement and take the control of about 50 farms  east of Douma from the side of Al-Raihan farms, where the clashes and intensive shelling on the battle fronts and the contact lines between the both parties, resulted in the fall of human losses in the ranks of the both parties, where the SOHR documented the death of 26 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, while 12 fighters at least of Jaysh Al-Islam were killed, in addition to the injury of tens of members in the ranks of the both parties with varying severity.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published few hours ago, that it has increased to 56 casualties at least including 19 children and 10 women, who were killed in the intensive bombardment on Douma city, in the past 24 hours, among them there are 21 casualties including 9 children and 3 women were killed as a result of suffocation in the bombardment which resulted in the destruction of the houses’ cellars as a result of the intensity of the bombardment which stopped about an hour ago on Douma area, in conjunction with negotiations that are underway between the Russian side and representatives of Jaysh Al-Islam, to reach a new and conclusive agreement about the situation in Douma city, which has witnessed bombardment by hundreds of raids, explosive barrels, shells and missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, since Friday morning the 6th of April 2018, and with the death of more citizens, it has increased to 96 at least including 27 children and 16 woman, the number of persons who have been killed since Friday, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, where reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that some of the casualties and wounded suffocated as a result of the demolition of home basements due to the heavy and intense shelling on Douma city, and the trusted sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory of Rights that the number of injuries today has exceeds 500, including tens of children and tens of women, where more than 70 of them have suffered suffocation as a result of the demolition of home basements over them due to the heavy and intense shelling on the last area beyond the regime forces’ control in the Eastern Ghouta, which is the stronghold of Jaysh al-Islam.
