The displacement of the fighters and residents of Douma continues after the departure of a number of buses including displaced people and abductees aboard during night

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of gathering the buses that include fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam with their families and other citizens aboard, at the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta preparing to transfer them towards the Syrian North the rest of buses come out of Douma, and a group of the civilian abductees who have been abducted in the past few years, arrived in the capital Damascus after the midnight of Sunday – Monday, after the continued implementation of the recent agreement in Douma, which took place yesterday, Sunday, between Jaysh Al-Islam on one hand, and the Russians and representatives of the regime on the other.

 

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday after the midnight, that it monitored the continued implementation of the last agreement in Douma, which was carried out between the Jaysh al-Islam and the Russians as a representative of the regime during the past few hours, where the bus boarding process continues by fighters of Jaysh al-Islam, their families and civilians who refused the agreement, to be transported to the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta on buses which are within Douma city, also the buses are being prepared, while releasing the captured persons and abductees civilians of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to is under way, they were kidnapped and captured in the past years, also the intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the operation would take place consecutively and simultaneously, where the captured persons and abductees will be released in conjunction with the exit of the displaced people of Douma, to finish the operation and transfer fighters of Jaysh al-Islam and their families to the Syrian north, while the sounds of gunfire are heard at the outskirts of the capital Damascus and its outskirts, the sources confirmed that they are the result of the shooting by the gunmen loyal to the regime out of “rejoice” due to the start of releasing the abductees and captives from jails of Jaysh al-Islam.

 

During the past few hours, the Syrian Observatory published that tens of buses remain inside Douma and it is expected that in the coming hours the first batch of buses will exit from al-Wafddien crossing, where it is expected that the release of abductees and captured people, and, the exit of the first bus of displaced people simultaneously, where the preparations are underway in Douma city from boarding of citizens, preparing citizens who refuse the agreement with the fighters and their families towards their destination in the Syrian north, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago that after the military operations and shelling had stopped on Douma city which witnessed bloody massacres in the past two days, which left hundreds of casualties and wounded, and which were coincided with violent attack by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities in places in the vicinity of Douma area, through which the regime forces managed to achieve advancement and take the control of about 50 farms  east of Douma from the side of Al-Rihan farms, where the clashes and intensive shelling on the battle fronts and the contact lines between the both parties, resulted in the fall of human losses in the ranks of the both parties, where the SOHR documented the death of 26 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, while 12 fighters at least of Jaysh Al-Islam were killed, in addition to the injury of tens of members in the ranks of the both parties with varying severity.

 

The Syrian observatory had documented the death of 1745 citizens including 371 children and 229 women, who have been killed since the 18th of February 2018, by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling on the cities and towns of Douma, Harasta, Arbin, Zamalka, Hamouriyah, Jesrin, Kafr Batna, Hazza, Ash’ari, Nashabiyah, Aftries, Otaya, Al-Shifonyyah, Al-Marj area, Mesraba, Madyara, Beit Sawa, and other areas in the besieged Ghouta of Damascus, resulted in the injury of more than 6000 citizens including hundreds of children and citizen women with varying severity, some of them have permanent disabilities, while the bodies of tens of citizens are still under the rubble of destruction caused by the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, and the total death toll documented by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, includes 1213 casualties including 230 children and 146 women who were killed and documented by the SOHR after the resolution of the UNSC, which failed again to stop the killing of the people of the Eastern Ghouta, and the shelling resulted in the fall of hundreds of wounded.
