About 7500 fighters and citizens arrived in the Syrian North in the past 48 hours and the Turkish authorities continue to prevent the second convoy from entering their controlled areas in Aleppo

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the second convoy of the displaced people of Douma of fighters and citizens, has not been allowed to enter the controlled areas of the Turkish-backed factions of the “Euphrates Shield” in the Syrian North until now, where the Turkish authorities are continuing to prevent the second convoy to enter, as the convoy is still stuck between the contact point at the last checkpoint of the regime forces and the first checkpoint of the factions of the “Euphrates Shield” in Al-Bab area in the north-east of Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that with the exit of 2 batch from Douma in the past two days, the number of the displaced people within the both convoys, reached about 7500 including 2458 fighters at least of Jaysh Al-Islam, and the both convoys also included about 4750 children and citizen women of the fighter’s families and other citizens of who reject the agreement between Jaysh Al-Islam with the Russian and the regime.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published few hours ago, that it monitored tension prevailing the controlled areas of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation, in conjunction with the arrival of the second convoy of the displaced people of Douma, in the crossing between the regime forces controlled areas and the controlled areas of the Turkish-backed forces of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation, in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; tension is prevailing the controlled areas of the Turkish forces and their allied factions in Al-Bab area, as a result of preventing the second convoy by the Turkish authorities to enter their controlled areas in the Syrian North, where they are still refusing to let it enter their controlled areas in the Syrian territory, after they confiscated all of the individual weapons that the fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam have during their crossing to the controlled areas of the “Euphrates Shield” forces, aboard the first convoy, and local sources confirmed to the SOHR that the locals called on the Turkish authorities to let displaced people enter, while preparations for demonstrations and sit-ins are being carried out, to pressure the Turkish authorities and the factions of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation, to allow the convoy of Douma to enter the controlled areas of the Turkish forces and their allied factions in the Syrian North, while sources confirmed that a delegation of the residents has talked to the Turkish forces about the possibility of allowing the fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam to be transferred to Afrin, but the Turkish forces refused this option, and expressed their desire not to let the displaced people of Douma enter all of their controlled areas in the Syrian North.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored in the past few days, Turkish delays and postponement to enter the convoys which departed few days ago from Douma to the Syrian North, before stopping the displacement from Douma as a result of obstructing the agreement between Jaysh Al-Islam with the Russian and the regime, where the SOHR published yesterday that it the arrival of the convoy which carries thousands of the displaced people from Douma city, in the controlled areas of the forces of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation,, where the buses entered heading towards the place specified for their stay at the present time, and sources of who were on the buses confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that the “Euphrates Shield” forces have confiscated the individual weapons that the fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam have, emphases that it is according to orders of the Turkish forces and intelligence, issued to them to take all individual weapons that the members and commanders of Jaysh Al-Islam have when they enter the area, amid resentment as a reaction against this step by the Turkish forces and their allied factions, which the people displaced from Douma to the Syrian North, the SOHR also monitored the continued preparations of the new convoy in Douma city, where the fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam, their families and citizens who reject the agreement, are getting on the buses, where a large convoy including tens of buses will be launched.
