About 100 buses within a new batch launch from the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta towards the Syrian North

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that about 100 buses carrying thousands of fighters and citizens within the batch which suggested to be the last one, are continuing their way towards the controlled areas of the “Euphrates Shield” in the Syrian north, after they departed from the point where they gathered at the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta after the midnight of Friday – Saturday, after the exit of all buses of the batch from Douma city was completed, where the buses included thousands of the fighters with their families and citizens who rejected the agreement reached on the 8thof April 2018, between the Russian and the regime with Jaysh Al-Islam, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published last night that it monitored the entry of the convoy that arrived on Friday afternoon, the 13th of April 2018 to areas controlled by “Euphrates Shield” in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, where the convoy carries about 4000 persons aboard, while the new convoy is still being prepared in Douma city, of which about 70 buses have come out to the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, and the number of buses of this convoy are likely to reach about 100 buses, where they are waiting their departure to the Syrian north during the hours of this night, also it is believed that this is the last convoy to come out of Douma, where the Syrian Observatory published this morning that a new convoy departed few hours ago towards its destination in the controlled areas of the forces of the “Euphrates Shield” Operation in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo, where the convoy includes about 85 buses carrying thousands of fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam and their families and citizens who reject the agreement which was reached on the 8th of April 2018 between Jaysh Al-Islam with the Russians and the regime, while the exit of more buses is continuing successively from Douma city to the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta, in preparation to be transferred to the Syrian North, where activists of the SOHR monitored the continuation of boarding process of the displaced people on the buses until now, in order to complete the convoy which is supposed to be the last one to depart from Douma currently,  where it is expected that the convoy will depart towards the Syrian North, in the next few hours after the buses are completed to be gathered at the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the departure of buses is continuing from Douma city, to the outskirts of the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, preparing to complete the convoy which is suggested to be the last one, and which is expected to be launched in the next few hours, from the outskirts of Ghouta towards its destination in the Syrian North to catch up with its predecessors, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the fighters of Jaysh Al-Islam remained in Douma city in the Eastern Ghouta, are still hesitating to leave with the displaced people convoy which is being completed, or to stay in the city and “settle their situations”, where a new convoy left during the last night heading towards the Syrian North, and approached to arrive in the crossing between the regime forces’ controlled areas and the controlled areas of the forces of the “Euphrates Shield” north-east of Aleppo, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that looting is being carried out in Douma city, where locals confirmed that members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, have entered the outskirts of Douma and its farms, and looted all what they can transfer to the regime’s controlled areas in the Eastern Ghouta and its vicinity, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from a number of reliable sources, that the Russian military police held a meeting with dignitaries, notables and representatives from Douma, where they agreed on forming local committees of those remained in the city, to protect it internally and control the security in it, in the wake of arresting members of the gunmen loyal to the regime after they carried out looting in the past 24 hours, where the Russian forces opened fire on gunmen loyal to the regime who were looting houses in the outskirts of Douma, and this looting is coincided with the continuation of looting witnessed in the Eastern Ghouta, since the start of the regime forces’ advancement in the Eastern Ghouta, with their allies and gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published previously that members of the militiamen loyal to the regime forces and other members of the regime forces looted the properties of citizens in areas, recently controlled by the regime forces since the 25th of February 2018, and sources stressed that the looting of properties of citizens took place in houses, shops, cars and vehicles belong to the citizens, in addition to the looting of properties and military premises of areas controlled by the regime forces and militiamen allied to them under the command of Russian officers and advisers.
