The clashes escalate again in the south of Damascus and the regime forces seek to carry out control operations and confine the organization inside the south of the capital

The military operations are continuing in the south of Damascus, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of the shelling of the regime forces by artillery and rocket shells and by missiles believed to be ground-to-ground, in conjunction with airstrikes, which targeted areas in the neighborhoods of Yarmouk Camp, Al-Kadam, Al-Hajar al-Aswad and Al-Tadamon, where the pace of clashes returned to increase between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the vicinity and outskirts of the abovementioned neighborhoods, while the clashes are still continuing in areas in the northern outskirts of Yarmouk Camp between the regime forces against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in an attempt by the regime forces to achieve further advancement and carry out their attacks from more than one area in order to keep ISIS busy fighting and scatter its members, as a prelude by the regime forces to start a violent attack along with bringing military reinforcements, in an attempt to force the organization to start to implement the agreement or surrender, and information about human losses in the ranks of the both parties, during the advancement of the regime forces in the southern neighborhoods of the capital, where the organization is seeking to repel the regime forces’ attack and prevent them to advance, while the regime forces are trying to carry out control operations, divide the area and confine the organization in several enclaves.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published in the past few hours, that deliberations are underway between representatives of the southern Rif Dimashq and between the Russians and the regime forces, to accept or refuse the regime’s request to hand over all the front lines between the factions’ controlled areas in the southern Rif Dimashq, and the organization’s controlled areas in the south of Damascus, so that the regime forces and the Palestinian factions and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities can be stationed, before starting their violent offensive they preparing for, in the terms of re-arranging their ranks and bringing military reinforcements to the fronts of the south of Damascus (Qalamoun, the Eastern Ghouta and other areas), while sources confirmed that the meeting which held yesterday between the trio committee with regard to the towns of Yalda, Beit Saham and Babbila in the southern Rif Dimashq, witnessed a threat by the regime forces to bomb these towns if the contact lines with the organizations are not handed over, and the sources confirmed that the Russian general who attended the meeting, ordered the officers of the regime forces to carry out the operation of the south of the capital without touching the towns of the southern Rif Dimashq, where it is expected that the regime forces will start to escalate their shelling even more, with carrying out violent attacks, through which they can control the organization’s controlled areas and divide them through separating them each others, confine the organization in scattered enclaves, and force it to surrender or accept the terms of the agreement.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that intersected sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the regime forces threatened the factions operating in the areas of Yalda, Beit Saham and Babbila, to bomb the three areas which are “reconciliation areas”, if the factions do not hand over the contact points with the organization to the regime forces, following the failure of the regime forces to achieve further advancement at the expense of the organization, through penetrating its controlled areas in the south of Damascus, and in the same context, the regime forces are continuing to close Babbila crossing for the 8th consecutive day, which is the only crossing in the area, which resulted in deteriorating the humanitarian situation of the residents of Yalda, Beit Saham and Babbila, and the SOHR has monitored the regime forces bringing more military reinforcements to the southern section of the capital Damascus, in conjunction with the continuation of military operations in the area, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the arrival of reinforcements from the Eastern Qalamoun, which witnessed the displacement of thousands of fighters, their families and civilians, and during the agreement large quantities of weapons, armored vehicles, tanks, ammunition, missiles and vehicles were handed over to the regime forces and the Russians, where reinforcements arrived in an attempt by the regime forces to expand the scale of attack on the Organization and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, where the regime forces has been carrying out operations in several areas in al-Hajar al-Aswad, al-Kadam, al-Tadamon and Yarmouk camp, after they managed to advancement in the north, south and northwest of the “Islamic State” organization’s controlled areas.
