The continuation of assassinations in Idlib Province raises the number of the assassinated people by unknown gunmen to 16 since today’s morning

Idlib Province is witnessing the continuation of assassinations since Thursday morning the 26 of April 2018, where the Syrian Observatory documented more of these operations this evening, where unidentified gunmen assassinated 2 of the security of “Ansar al-Tawhid” by shooting them in Khan Shaykhun city south of Idlib, also another security was killed and 2 others were injured of Ahrar al-Sham Movement after being shot on the road of Meshmeshan – Ein Souda in the countryside of Jisr al-Shughur city, also a security person of non-Syrian nationality was shot dead in Idlib city, also a fighter of the Turkistanis was killed after being shot in al-Qenyeh are east of Jisr Al-Shughur city, while a pharmacist was killed after being shot by unidentified persons in Jobas village south of Saraqib, also near Idlib province at a checkpoint to Al-Sham Corps in Talad village west of Aleppo witnessed shooting by unknown gunmen, which killed a member and injured others, raising to at least 16, the number of persons who were killed as a result of the escalation of assassinations in Idlib Province and west of Aleppo since the morning of today, Thursday, where the Syrian Observatory published noon of today that it has increased to 9 at least, the number of people who were assassinated today, Thursday the 26th of April 2018, they are 3 persons including 2 fighters of battalions displaced from Zabadani in the north-western Rif Dimashq, 3 Turkestan and Uzbek fighters believed to be of the Islamic Party of Turkestan, they were assassinated on the road between Millis and Armanaz in the north-western countryside of Idlib city, a young man was shot by unidentified gunmen which caused his death in Ibbin area, a local commander in Jaysh Al-Ahrar known as “Abu Salim Binnish” was assassinated by being shot in the north-eastern countryside of Idlib, also a local commander in Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham known as Abu Al-Ward Kafr Al-Batikh was assassinated in the same countryside, while the director of the information department of Idlib Directorate of Education was exposed to an assassination attempt, near Nayrab area in the eastern countryside of Idlib, which injured him seriously, and the assassinations resulted in the injury of others with varying severity.

The escalation of assassinations comes again about 48 hours after the fighting had stopped between Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Ahrar Al-Sham Islamic movement against Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where several intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that an agreement had been reached between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, Nour al-Din al-Zenki and Ahrar al-Sham Movement after the bloodshed and clashes in the abolition war between both parties in Idlib Province and the western countryside of Aleppo, which killed hundreds of civilian and fighters of both parties, where the agreement stipulates:

“to end the clashes permanently and fully starting from the date of signing and publishing the agreement and keeping the situation in free areas as it is now, stopping the arrests between both parties completely and opening the roads and removing the checkpoints, and the return of displaced people to their homes, and definitive suspension of media incitement in official and loyal accounts, and the release of detainees from both parties according to a schedule between both of them, establishing a committee of both parties and mediation committee to follow up on carrying out the agreement, and the start of extensive and wide consultations to reach a comprehensive solution at the military, political, administrative and judicial levels”, where this agreement comes after violent clashes that caused large human losses especially in the ranks of both parties in Idlib and the western of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory documented the rise of number of casualties among the rival factions in the abolishing war and civilians, where it rose to at least 231, the number of members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham who were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the movement of Ahrar al-Sham and Soqur al-Sham in the countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 174, the number of fighters of Ahrar al-Sham Movement and Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Soqur al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, since the 20th of February until today, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and due to information about other casualties the Syrian Observatory wasn’t able to documented so far, also the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 26 civilians, including 9 children and 5 women since the outbreak of clashes in the 20th of February 2018, as a result of the random shelling and shooting in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib.
