Syrian Army kills 68 ISIS terrorists in southern Damascus

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies have killed 68 Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists over the last few days in southern Damascus, the pro-opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) claimed on Saturday.

While Al-Masdar cannot verify the exact number, reports from southern Damascus have indicated that the Islamic State has suffered heavy casualties due to the heavy bombardment from the Syrian military and Russian Aerospace Forces.

However, despite the heavy losses in their ranks, the Islamic State has managed to fend off most of the Syrian Arab Army’s attacks, while also inflicting many casualties on the government forces.

ISIS is still attempting to beat back the Syrian Army assault, but the likelihood that they will remain in the Yarmouk Camp, Hajar Al-Aswad, Al-Qadam, and Al-Tadamon is very slim.
