The military operations continue in the south of Damascus between ISIS against the regime forces

Damascus Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the military operations are continuing in the south of the capital Damascus, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of the rocket shelling after the midnight of Saturday – Sunday, by the regime forces on areas in Yarmouk Camp, Al-Hajar al-Aswad and the outskirts of Al-Tadamon, along with ongoing clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the vicinity and outskirts of Yarmouk Camp, Al-Hajar al-Aswad and the outskirts of Al-Tadamon, accompanied by exchange of targeting and shelling, where the regime forces achieved the most important advancement since they started their operation in the south of Damascus where the SOHR published last night that the regime forces controlled large parts of the western part of ISIS-held areas in the south of the capital (Al-Madniya – Al-Asaaly – Al-Joura which altogether form Al-Kadam neighborhood). The regime forces achieved more advancement and controlled large parts in the neighborhood, amid attempts of the organization to implement rebel attacks and restore control of what they have lost in this violent attack and the clashes left more human losses in both ranks.

 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored more human losses as a result of the continuation of the military operations in the area, where it has increased to 85 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, who were killed in 9 days of clashes, including a number of officers, and including 5 members were executed, while it has increased to 74, the number of members of the organization who were killed in the same period, as a result of the shelling, clashes and targeting that left tens of wounded in the ranks of the both parties, and the death toll is expected to rise because of the continued combat operations and the presence of injured cases in critical situation.
