More bombardment and shells target several areas in Homs countryside raising the death toll to 9 citizens

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: several rocket shells fell on areas in Huriyah village in the northern countryside of Homs, controlled by the regime forces, without information about injuries, while the helicopters bombed areas in Al-Rastan city by explosive barrels, in conjunction with bombardment by warplanes on areas in Ezz Al-Din and Deir Ful towns in the northern countryside, also the Islamic factions targeted areas in Homs city by several Grad missiles, without information about casualties, along with targeting their targeting by heavy machineguns to a column of the regime forces on Salamiyah Road in the north-eastern countryside of Homs, also the number of people who were killed as a result of the continuation of the aerial, rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces on areas in the northern countryside of Homs, has increased to 9, they are 6 casualties in Al-Rastan including 3 women and a child, one person in Al-Ghantu, a woman in Ezz Al-Din village, and a child in Al-Za’afaraneh village, and the number of casualties may increase because of the presence of injuries, some of them have seriously wounded, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning, Monday the 30th of April 2018, that it monitored the start of the violent bombardment which came after bringing large military reinforcements to both northern countryside of Homs and southern countryside of Hama, where the SOHR monitored that the regime forces have sent large military reinforcements of members, material, weapons and armored vehicles to the area, preparing for carrying out a military operation in the area aims to end the presence of the factions in the area and regain the control of the area by the regime forces.

And the Syrian Observatory published yesterday morning that it monitored the ongoing aerial shelling on the northern countryside of Homs since after Saturday – Sunday  midnight, where the warplanes carried out about 34 airstrikes on areas in Al-Makrmaia, Deir Al-Fol, Al-Zaafrana, Ezz Al-Din, Al-Humayrat, and places near Homs – Salmiya road, in conjunction with artillery and rocket shelling by the regime forces on areas in the northern countryside of Homs. The regime’s helicopters also dropped barrel bombs on areas in Al-Zaafrana town in the same countryside, killing a man guard working in Al-Zaafrana hospital. The shelling also left several people injured, and the SOHR monitored that several warplanes flying consecutively targeting every once and while areas in the countryside of Homs.

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: 2 explosive devices exploded on the road between Idlib and Salqin in the northern countryside of Idlib, without information about casualties, while the warplanes opened their heavy machineguns on areas in the outskirts of Hbit town in the southern countryside of Idlib, accompanied by bombardment by warplanes on areas in the vicinity of the town, without information about casualties, in conjunction with dropping several explosive barrels by helicopters on areas in Horsh Abdeen in the same countryside.
