The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights

After violent clashes between them for weeks, exchange of about 115 prisoners takes place between Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham and Soqur al-Sham

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: serval intersected sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that a new exchange of prisoners took place today in Idlib Province, between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and brigades of Soqur al-Sham, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the exchange took place in the Ariha area, where more than 80 members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham were released, in exchange for the release of at least 35 members of Soqur al-Sham, of who were captured during the clashes of the abolition war that erupted on the 20th of February 2018, and more prisoners and detainees of both parties are expected to be released.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 27th of April that a prisoner exchange took place between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, Soqur al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham movement in the countryside of Idlib, where about 21 members of the factions were released in exchange for the release of about 25 prisoners of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, of who have been captured during the clashes of the abolition war that broke out on the 20th of February 2018, and it is expected that more prisoners and detainees will be releases of both parties.

Several intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that an agreement had been reached between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, Nour al-Din al-Zenki and Ahrar al-Sham Movement after the bloodshed and clashes in the abolition war between both parties in Idlib Province and the western countryside of Aleppo, which killed hundreds of civilian and fighters of both parties, where the agreement stipulates:

“to end the clashes permanently and fully starting from the date of signing and publishing the agreement and keeping the situation in free areas as it is now, stopping the arrests between both parties completely and opening the roads and removing the checkpoints, and the return of displaced people to their homes, and definitive suspension of media incitement in official and loyal accounts, and the release of detainees from both parties according to a schedule between both of them, establishing a committee of both parties and mediation committee to follow up on carrying out the agreement, and the start of extensive and wide consultations to reach a comprehensive solution at the military, political, administrative and judicial levels”, where this agreement comes after violent clashes that caused large human losses especially in the ranks of both parties in Idlib and the western of Aleppo, where the Syrian Observatory documented the rise of number of casualties among the rival factions in the abolishing war and civilians, where it rose to at least 231, the number of members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham who were killed during the shelling and clashes against Nour al-Din al-Zenki in the western countryside of Aleppo, and the movement of Ahrar al-Sham and Soqur al-Sham in the countryside of Idlib, while it rose to 174, the number of fighters of Ahrar al-Sham Movement and Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement and Soqur al-Sham, who were killed during the shelling and clashes in the area, since the 20th of February until today, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and due to information about other casualties the Syrian Observatory wasn’t able to documented so far, also the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 26 civilians, including 9 children and 5 women since the outbreak of clashes in the 20th of February 2018, as a result of the random shelling and shooting in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib.
