ISIS continues to operate west of Euphrates and causes more human losses, rising to 84, the number of casualties of the regime forces and their allies since evacuation it from the south of Damascus

The “Islamic State” organization continues to escalate its operations west of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor province, within its successive operations to disperse the regime forces and their allies, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored ISIS during the last night’s hours carrying out 2 new simultaneous attacks, the first one targeted Sbikhan village west of Euphrates River, while the other one targeted al-Salhiya town east of Sbikhan, after which violent clashes took place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against members of the “Islamic State” organization, accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between them, amid shelling by the regime forces targeting the area, in an attempt to repel the organization’s attacks through which it tries to disperse the regime and its allies and inflict as many human losses as possible.

Reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the clashes between both parties caused casualties, where at least 8 of the gunmen loyal to regime of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities have been killed, and confirmed information about killing members of the organization, in addition to the fall of injuries of both parties, raising to at least 84, the number of members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities who have been killed –including 9 Russian soldiers– during confrontations and clashes; accompanied by a ISIS members detonating themselves with explosive belts and booby-trapped vehicles in the fight locations, in addition to capturing and injuring tens of other members, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of at least 25 members of the organization during these attacks which were carried out suddenly in the countryside of Homs and the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, since the 22nd of May 2018 until today.

Thus, it rose to 1014, the number of deaths of both parties who have been documented by the Syrian Observatory, in the provinces of Damascus, Deir Ezzor and Homs, where it rose to 618, the number of members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them who were killed in 2 months of clashes in al-Bokamal Desert, the countryside of Deir Ezzor, south of the capital Damascus and the eastern outskirts of Homs, where 2 thirds of them were killed in the south of Damascus, also it rose to 396 at least, the number of members of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in the same battles, since the recovery of the Organization in the 13th of March 2018, also tens of others of both parties were killed and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to the presence of missing members and captives in the ranks of the both parties.
