Hours after the denial of reaching an American – Turkish agreement…fighting rages in Manbij countryside against its Military Council against the fighters of Operation “Euphrates Shield”

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored shelling by the Turkish-backed rebel and Islamic factions, targeting areas in Al-Mohsenli village which is located in the countryside of Manbij city, in the north-eastern sector of Aleppo province, which resulted in the fall of wounded, and this shelling was coincided with clashes between these factions against the forces of Manbij Military Council, in the contact areas in Manbij countryside, amid targeting in the clash areas, without information about injuries in the ranks of both parties, and this fighting comes hours after sources confirmed to the SOHR that the news about reaching an American – Turkish agreement is false, where the SOHR published few hours ago that Sources in Manbij confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that the reports are false news, which talked about the withdrawal of its forces –who fight under the banner of SDF– from Manbij city west of the Euphrates River in the northern countryside of eastern Aleppo; based on an American – Turkish agreement, where the false news says that the agreement provides for the withdrawal of the military forces from Manbij, reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian observatory that the forces are still present in the city and in their position points at the city’s perimeter, and no withdrawals have been made so far from the city.

The Reliable sources added that Manbij Military Council in recent months had formed military regiments and military offices amid full coordination with the International Coalition, which its forces are located in the city and its surroundings, also the sources confirmed that a meeting had taken place in the past 24 hours between leadership of Manbij Military Council and a delegation of the International Coalition, where they confirmed that the consultations with Turkey is still underway and that no definitive results had been achieved so far.
