The regime forces’ clashes with their allies against the organization continue tens of kilometers away from Al-Tanf Base in seeking for end the latter’s presence from the area

Al-Suwaidaa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent fighting is still continuing between the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the north-eastern sector of Al-Suwaidaa countryside, at a distance of about 50 km from the controlled area of the International Coalition in Al-Tanf, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored in the past 24 hours, that the pace of clashes between the both parties decreased, amid continued exchange of targeting between the both parties, and information about the fall of more human losses in their ranks.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Saturday morning, the 9th of June 2018, that it documented during the last 24 hours the kill and injury of tens of members of both parties during the clashes and shelling in al-Suwaidaa Desert, where the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of at least 9 ISIS members, and at least 5 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them were killed, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation and as a result of the continued violent battles, while intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the regime forces have sent more reinforcements of members and their ally forces; to the northeastern countryside of al-Suwaidaa in order to participate in the process of terminating the presence of ISIS in the area, where ISIS was able to expand its control in the area located tens of kilometers from the positions controlled by the International Coalition forces in al-Tanf area.

Thus, it rose to 246 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, 2 of them were executed and 9 of them are of the Russian Forces, during clashes and confrontations accompanied by detonating members of the “Islamic State” organization for themselves using booby trapped vehicle and explosive belts in the clash sites, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 138 members of the organization in these clashes, which have been carried out out-of-a-sudden in the eastern countryside of Homs and Deir Ezzor since the 22nd of May 2018 until today, the date of ISIS exit from the south of Damascus, until today, the 9th of June 2018, within 1286, the number of deaths of both parties who have been documented by the Syrian Observatory, in the provinces of Damascus, Deir Ezzor and Homs, where it rose to 776, the number of members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them who were killed in clashes in al-Bokamal Desert, the countryside of Deir Ezzor, south of the capital Damascus and the eastern outskirts of Homs, where 2 thirds of them were killed in the south of Damascus, also it rose to 510 at least, the number of members of the “Islamic State” organization who were killed in the same battles, since the recovery of the Organization on the 13th of March 2018, also tens of others of both parties were killed and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to the presence of missing members and captives in the ranks of the both parties.
