The Lebanese Hezbollah refuses to withdraw from al-Qusayr and Lebanon borders with Homs based on Russian orders after the Israeli raids that destroyed its warehouses

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources, who confirmed that the Lebanese Hezbollah is still present in the western and southwestern countryside of Homs, the sources confirmed that Hezbollah is still in al-Qusayr area and the vicinity of Jusiyyeh crossing area on the Syrian – Lebanese border, and no withdrawal from the area was carried out, also the Lebanese Hezbollah refused to withdraw according to Russian orders to its leadership that it should withdraw from the area located on the western and southwestern borders of Homs with Lebanon, after the Israeli raids that destroyed warehouses for the Lebanese Hezbollah in al-Qusayr area a few days ago, also this rejection by Hezbollah coincided with re-positioning of the Russian forces in the area away from a the contact lines with Hezbollah, the sources confirmed to the Observatory that no clashes took place between both parties in al-Qusayr; and that the news from al-Qusayr area about clashes between the Russian forces and members of the Lebanese Hezbollah using heavy and medium weapons are fake news.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 5th of June 2018 that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from a number of reliable sources, confirmed that the withdrawal of the Lebanese Hezbollah from both western and south-western countryside of Homs city, on the Syrian – Lebanese border, is false news, and the sources confirmed that there were no withdrawals carried out by Hezbollah from its positions in the area, and all what happened is a media withdrawal, while Hezbollah is still stationed in its positions in the western and south-western sectors of Homs city, and other reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory, that the positions of Hezbollah frequently witness shifts of the stationed forces with new units.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published in the past few hours, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the withdrawal of the Russian Force stationed in al-Qusayr area and the vicinity of al-Dabaa airbase in the western countryside of Homs, who were deployed after the Israeli strike on the 24th of May 2018, the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that these forces had withdrawn in order for another forces of a division belongs to the regime’s army to be deployed in its place, which is near the Syrian – Lebanese border, and the Syrian Observatory published in the last 30th of May 2018 that the Israeli Forces have stopped their escalation on Syrian territory following repeated shelling for nearly two months, since the beginning of April 2018, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during this period the Israeli warplanes and missile strikes targeting Iranian and other militia sites under their command, as well as sites of the Lebanese Hezbollah, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored air and missile strikes targeted al-Dabaa Airbase in the southwestern countryside of Homs, the campus and vicinity of the T4 Airbase in the eastern countryside of Homs, Brigade 47 and, Salhab area in the western countryside of Hama, sites near the towns of Khan Arnabah and al-Baath city in the countryside of Quneitra, al-Kiswah area in Rif Dimashq, al-Dumayr Airbase area, the triangle of Daraa – Quneitra southwest of Rif Dimashq, Neirab airbase and Aleppo International Airport, also 2 explosions hit Hama Airbase and a position of the Iranian Forces in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and these intense strikes have caused significant casualties in the ranks of the Iranian forces and the militiamen operating under their command, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented the killing of more than 68 of the Iranian Forces and their loyal and affiliated forces, as a result of Israeli missile and aerial strikes, which targeted their sites, warehouses, and missiles in several areas in the northern and central of Syria and in the southern Syrian and the Desert since early April 2018, and 28 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian nationality have been killed as a result of explosions in ammunition and fuel depots at Hama airbase west of Hama city, also, news were published about tens of Israeli media strikes against locations of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them and the Lebanese Hezbollah.
