The regime forces bring hundreds of members to al-Mayadin city to strengthen their positions west of Euphrates against a possible attack by ISIS

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for human rights: the Syrian Observatory monitoring the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them; bringing a large military reinforcements to the west banks of Euphrates River, and in the details monitored by the Syrian Observatory: tens of cars and vehicles carrying hundreds of members; had arrived from Deir Ezzor city to al-Mayadin city at the west bank of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where the reinforcement column was mostly composed of heavy machineguns installed on vehicles, and this force was positioned on the main road in the city between al-Tammu neighborhood and al-Tayba roundabout, this comes within the fortification process carried out by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, against any possible attack by the “Islamic State” Organization on the area, after the most violent attack that took place in early June 2018.

And the Syrian Observatory published in early June 2018, that that the organization managed through an attack on a front of about 100 km long, to move tens of its members from the east bank of the river to its west bank, after the organization imposed its presence in the areas of al-Ramadi, Hasrat, al-Baq’aan, and al-Jala’a, opposite to al-Sha’fa town and Abu al-Hasan area, and the SOHR also obtained information on the 2nd of April 2014, from a number of reliable sources, reporting that about 400 fighter of the “Islamic State” organization of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, have crossed from the enclave east Euphrates -which is surrounded by the Syria Democratic Forces who are supported by the International Coalition- to the west of Euphrates River in the form of groups, where they crossed through al-Shafa area, after intense shelling by the “Islamic State” Organization on areas controlled by the regime and its loyal gunmen west of Euphrates River, and the Syrian Observatory monitored at nigh of the 5th of June 2018, that the regime forces backed by armed militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, managed to restore most of positions which they had lost for members the “Islamic State” organization during its violent attack which targeted a front of about 100 km along the west banks of Euphrates River, from the west of Al-Bokamal to the east of Al-Mayadin, where the regime forces managed to attack again which forced the organization to leave its positions and withdraw to the Desert, in order to prevent the fall of large number of human losses in its ranks, and to be able to re-attack in the next days, where the organization aims through these repeated attacks, to confuse the regime, and to strain it and to inflict the largest possible number of casualties in the ranks of the regime and its allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the fact that the Russian warplanes have not been intensively involved in supporting the regime forces and pushing the attack of the organization on the area, and the attacks which have completed 48 hours, resulted in the fall of a large number of casualties in the ranks of the both parties, the SOHR also published few days ago that the regime forces are continuing with their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, to bring military reinforcements to the Syrian Desert, where the regime forces brought again tens of military vehicles carrying equipment, weapons and ammunition as well as hundreds of members of the regime forces and their allies of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, and the sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that the bringing of these reinforcements comes in an attempt by the regime forces to fortify their positions and strengthen their presence in the Syrian Desert, for fear of a mass offensive that may be carried out by the “Islamic State” organization against them in the deserts of Homs and Deir Ezzor, in an attempt to expand its control over the enclaves that are under its control, and to revive its areas of control on the Syrian territory, in the wake of the attacks which are carried out either by the regime forces and their allies, or by the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition through its American, Italian, French and European forces, where the organization which is located in the triangle of Al-Sukhnah – Jabal Abu Rajeem – Al-Tibah in the west of Palmyra – Al-Sukhnah – Deir Ezzor Road, is seeking to expand its control even more amid successive preparations carried out by the organization to expand the scope of its attacks.
