24 members at least of the regime forces, their allies and the organization were killed in the clashes of Iraq – Al-Bokamal – T2 Triangle

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes that continued between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities as well as the Iranian forces, against the members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the triangle of Syria – Iraq borders – Al-Bokamal – the 2nd Station (T2), with the outskirts of the eastern desert of Homs, and the clashes were accompanied by shelling by the regime forces on the organization’s controlled areas and positions, amid exchange of targeting in the clash areas, which resulted in the fall of more human losses, where the SOHR documented the death of 6 members at least of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, as well as the killing of 18 members at least of the organization, also others were injured with varying severity.

And the Syrian Observatory published on the morning of Friday, that the triangle of Iraq – Homs – Deir Ezzor is still witnessing the continuation of clashes at a varying degree of violence in several areas, between the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the “Islamic State” Organization, accompanied by occasional shelling and targeting by the regime forces and their allies, in a continuation for their attempts to end the Organization’s presence in the area, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday morning, Friday, that clashes continue at a violent pace in areas in the triangle of Homs – Deir Ezzor – Iraqi borders, between members of the “Islamic State” Organization against the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in continue attacks by the last mentioned to expel ISIS from the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces and their allies achieving a new advancement in the area, with a cover of intense shelling, where they took control of areas stretching from the 3rd Station to Hmimeh area, amid the continuation of military operation to end the entire existence of the Organization from the area, while the Syrian Observatory published on Thursday, that the triangle of the Iraqi border – Homs – Deir Ezzor is witnessing violent ashes which are still taking place, between the regime forces and their allies against members of the “Islamic State” organization, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent clashes continue between both parties, as a result of a continuous attack by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities and Iranians, in an attempt to end the presence of groups of ISIS in the eastern desert of Homs, east of the 3rd Station, and the vicinity of Hmimeh area, and other locations in the eastern countryside of Homs, where the regime forces were able to achieve more advancement in the area at the expense of the “Islamic State” organization, which resides in the form of scattered groups in the area, and these clashes have caused casualties in the ranks of both parties, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented since the dawn of today the death of at least 10 members of the “Islamic State” organization, in addition to at least 6 members of the regime forces and their allies, as well as the injury of others of both parties, while clashes continue in the area after the advancement achieved by the regime forces since yesterday, within their continued pursuit to control the area and terminate the existence of the “Islamic State” organization; which strained the regime forces and their allies with the sporadic attacks of its members, which are carried out through machinegun attacks or detonating booby trapped vehicles, where the attacks targeted sites and gatherings of the regime forces killing and wounding tens of them.

The Syrian Observatory published on the morning of Wednesday, the 20th of June 2018, that it monitored the arrival of more military reinforcements in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, in conjunction with increased concerns among the Iranian forces, the Lebanese Hezbollah, and the loyalist gunmen and supporters; from a massive attack by the “Islamic State” Organization that may let them loses control of al-Bokamal city, which has a strategic importance as the link to opening the road of Tehran – Beirut, where the battles of opening this road were led by Qasim Soleimani, and the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that more fighters have been brought aboard tens of military vehicles along with equipment and ammunition, as part of the preparations by the Iranian Forces and the gunmen loyal to them, fortifying their positions, and strengthening their presence points to repel any possible attack in the coming days by the “Islamic State” organization, Whose areas of presence are witnessing a state of alert among its members and preparations for a violent attack in the desert of Deir Ezzor, in an attempt to achieve its goal of expanding its control, after previous series of operations that left hundreds of casualties and injuries of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities and the Iranian forces, while the SOHR published that the desert of Homs and the administrative borders with Deir Ezzor are witnessing continuous clashes and sweeping by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, for areas east of Palmyra and the southern desert of al-Bokamal and the areas between them, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces carry out sweeping operations since 48 hours ago, aiming to take full control over the area near the 2nd Station “T2” and the 3rd Station “T3”, with the eastern countryside of Homs and the administrative borders of Deir Ezzor Province, the regime forces are sweeping those areas looking for members of the organization within the Syrian Desert, and this sweep comes within the process of imposing the control to make the fears of the regime forces and the Iranians of new attacks that ISIS may carry out in the coming days to expand its control in the eastern desert of Homs, and the sweep operations in the area and the regime forces’ attempt to control the entire area; come in conjunction with violent clashes which are taking place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities; against members of the “Islamic State” organization, in areas in the vicinity of the 2nd Station and the 3rd Station in Homs desert and its administrative borders with Deir Ezzor.
