3 weeks after a meeting of clans east of Aleppo…an unidentified group announce the formation of a “Popular Resistance” against the US, Turkish and French forces in Manbij

An organization named itself as the “Popular Resistance in Manbij City”, and it is Pro-regime organization, announced through a statement made by one of its masked members, that they announce the start of their “uprising and popular resistance” against the Turkish forces and the French and American forces of the International Coalition in Manbij city and its countryside, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has received a copy of video says: “the people’s will is stronger than your deals, and the lofty Manbij is not for sale or bargaining, so, we, the people of Manbij city of Arab, Kurdish and Turkmen clans, and the rest of its components, are the owners of this land, and we will never allow any foreign invaders whether being American, Turkish or French to be present in it, so, we announce the start of our uprising and popular resistance refusing any attempt to occupy, divide or separate Manbij city from our homeland, Syria”

And the Syrian Observatory published on the 2nd of June 2018, that it monitored a meeting of hundreds of dignitaries and notables of Syrian Arab clans from various Syrian areas, in Dayr Hafir area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, which used to be controlled by the “Islamic State” organization, and which the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities led by the Brigadier in the regime forces, Suhail Al-Hassan, and with Russian support, managed to impose their control on, in 2017, and the meeting included in its final statement which it announced about, the formation of unites under the name “Popular Clannish Resistance”, serve as ally forces of the Syrian regime army, and aim to expel the Turkish, US and French forces from the Syrian territory, where a number of officials of the regime and a number of officers of the regime forces attended this vast conference.
