Operations of the regime and the Iranian military forces continue along with controlling areas of Deir Ezzor Desert with the Iraqi border, ISIS loses at least 31 of its members in this operation

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory monitored the continuation of clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, the Iranian forces, and the forces loyal to them, against members of the “Islamic State” organization in places in the area between the Iraqi borders, al-Bokamal, the 2nd Station, and outskirts of the eastern desert of Homs, within regime forces’ operations to end the existence of the Organization in the area and control the remaining sites of the Organization in the aforementioned area, the clashes are accompanied by exchange of targeting in the clash areas between both parties, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces were able to control points that allow them to monitor the whole area adjacent to the Syrian – Iraqi border.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of more members during the shelling, targeting, and clashes between both parties, where it rose to 31 at least, the number of members of the organization who were killed in these clashes, also the Syrian Observatory documented the death of at least 6 members of the regime forces and their allies, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, while the Syrian Observatory published on Friday morning that the triangle of Iraq – Homs – Deir Ezzor is still witnessing the continuation of clashes at a varying degree of violence in several areas, between the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the “Islamic State” Organization, accompanied by occasional shelling and targeting by the regime forces and their allies, in a continuation for their attempts to end the Organization’s presence in the area, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday morning, Friday, that clashes continue at a violent pace in areas in the triangle of Homs – Deir Ezzor – Iraqi borders, between members of the “Islamic State” Organization against the regime forces supported by the gunmen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, in continue attacks by the last mentioned to expel ISIS from the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces and their allies achieving a new advancement in the area, with a cover of intense shelling, where they took control of areas stretching from the 3rd Station to Hmimeh area, amid the continuation of military operation to end the entire existence of the Organization from the area, while the Syrian Observatory published on Thursday, that the triangle of the Iraqi border – Homs – Deir Ezzor is witnessing violent ashes which are still taking place, between the regime forces and their allies against members of the “Islamic State” organization, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the violent clashes continue between both parties, as a result of a continuous attack by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities and Iranians, in an attempt to end the presence of groups of ISIS in the eastern desert of Homs, east of the 3rd Station, and the vicinity of Hmimeh area, and other locations in the eastern countryside of Homs, where the regime forces were able to achieve more advancement in the area at the expense of the “Islamic State” organization, which resides in the form of scattered groups in the area, and these clashes have caused casualties in the ranks of both parties, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented since the dawn of today the death of at least 10 members of the “Islamic State” organization, in addition to at least 6 members of the regime forces and their allies, as well as the injury of others of both parties, while clashes continue in the area after the advancement achieved by the regime forces since yesterday, within their continued pursuit to control the area and terminate the existence of the “Islamic State” organization; which strained the regime forces and their allies with the sporadic attacks of its members, which are carried out through machinegun attacks or detonating booby trapped vehicles, where the attacks targeted sites and gatherings of the regime forces killing and wounding tens of them.
