The regime forces renew their shelling on Aleppo countryside

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in the towns of Hayyan and Bayanoun which are located in the northern countryside of Aleppo, were subjected to renewed shelling by the regime forces, where the Syrian Observatory published in the past few hours, that it monitored intensive shelling by the regime forces on areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo after midnight of yesterday, where more than 97 rocket shells targeted areas in the towns of Hayan, Anadan and Huraytan, but no information about casualties yet, also the factions targeted by several rocket shells areas in the towns of Nubl and Zahra, which are inhabited by Shiite citizens in the northern countryside of Aleppo, amid clashes between both parties on the contact lines in the area, also violent clashes took place between the rebel and Islamic factions against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in Khan Touma area in the southern countryside of Aleppo after midnight of yesterday, accompanied by exchange of targeting and information about casualties. And in Aleppo city, more than 11 shells fell after midnight of yesterday on places in the neighborhoods of al-Shahba, Zahra, and Nile Street in the city, which are under the control of the regime forces but no information about injuries.

This intense shelling comes within the escalation in Aleppo Province since about a month, where the Syrian Observatory published on the 7th of June 2018 that violent explosions shook Aleppo city at dawn of today, Thursday, the 7th of June 2018, caused by carrying out several raids by warplanes on the factions’-controlled areas in Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a area west of Aleppo city, with no information until the moment about casualties, while the hours of last night witnessed the fall of more of rocket shells launched by the factions on areas in Nile Street and Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a neighborhood; and on other areas controlled by the regime forces in the western section of Aleppo city, no information about casualties, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored yesterday intensive exchange of targeting by tens of shells in the northern countryside of Aleppo, between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the Islamic and rebel factions, where the regime forces fired more than 120 shells targeting places in Kafr Hamra by about 70 shells of them, and about 50 shells of them targeted areas in Haritan town, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, while the factions targeted positions of the regime forces in Bashkoy village north of Aleppo, by about 40 rocket shells, and no information about injuries was reported yet.
