11 civilian casualties of one family in the countryside of Daraa are the first victims of the return-from-displacement, their death raises the number of killed civilians in the province to about 145 in 16 days

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for human rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a cautious calm in Daraa Province, since midnight of yesterday until now, except for the fall of 5 shells launched by the regime forces dawn of today on places in Tafas town in the northwestern countryside of Daraa, but no information about casualties, this comes after the breach carried out by the regime forces yesterday night in the province, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that at least 11 displaced people were killed in the explosion of mines in the eastern countryside of Daraa, while they were traveling on the road leading to al-Msifra during their return to the town, amid accusations by some people for the regime forces of using heat-seeking missile during the hours of last midnight, and the casualties are: 2 women, a man, his wife, and 2 of their sons, another lady and 2 of her sons, and a third lady with her child, while information was received about the presence of several wounded people in the same mine explosions, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, raising the number of civilian casualties to 143 including 26 children and 30 women, the number of people who were killed since the 19th of June 2018, who were killed in the raids, intense rocket and artillery shelling and raids by the Russians and regime’s warplanes on Daraa Province, and in mine explosion, where this is considered the first group of displaced people to be killed while travelling between areas in the countryside of Daraa Province, since the start of military operation, which caused the displacement of more than 120,000 civilians within the province.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on Saturday, the 30th of June 2018, that it monitored the displacement of more than 120000 citizens, as a result of the heavy shelling and military operations, where the local sources confirmed that at least 5 persons were killed in the past 48 hours due to the poor health and living conditions, and the tragic humanitarian situation, where the Syrian Observatory published hours ago that it monitored the increase of number of displaced people to more than 120000, they were displaced by the military operation and intensive shelling on their cities, towns, and villages, after thousands of air and missile strikes in 10 days of military operations, and in the details documented by the Syrian Observatory: the eastern countryside of Daraa is almost completely empty of civilians, where tens of thousands have displaced to the Syrian – Jordanian border hoping to cross to the Jordanian territory or to be in a place where the regime forces and the warplanes cant target them, others have fled to areas controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization in Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa, at the border with the occupied Syrian Golan, while others have displaced to areas controlled by the regime forces in the area after the regime’s open for 2 crossing points and 3 shelter centers in the northern and northwestern countryside of Daraa, and in the western and northwestern countryside of Daraa tens of thousands have displaced to the border with the occupied Golan at the countryside of Quneitra, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that more than 6000 families from Nawa city have left their homes, and more than 400 family have displaced to areas controlled by “Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid” which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization in Yarmouk Basin west of Daraa.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that  the regime forces returned to violate the calm which has been prevailing Daraa province, and which was preceded by several violations all day long, Tuesday the 3rd of July 2018, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today evening, targeting to areas in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city, by heavy machineguns, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, while the regime forces renewed their targeting for the third time, to Tafas area in the north-western countryside of Daraa, by a number of rocket shells, which caused material damage, without information about injuries, while a beheaded body of a man was found in the area of Al-Karak Al-Sharqi which is controlled by the regime forces, days after losing contact with him, amid conflicted information about the circumstances of killing and beheading him.

Also, before that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the negotiation is continuing between the Russian side and the representatives of Daraa province, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continuation of negotiations and talks to reach a final solution about the Syrian South, where the SOHR published hours ago, that the negotiations are still continuing between the Russians and between representatives of the towns of Daraa and their military factions, in an attempt to reach a final agreement about the Syrian South, and the sources confirmed to the SOHR that there are changes and modifications with regard to some of the terms included within the Russian proposal which has been presented as a draft of the final agreement in Daraa, where the representatives of the opposition try to have better and more comprehensive conditions and guarantees, while there is anticipation for reaching a final agreement between the regime and the opposition with Russian guarantee, where the agreement will include important points the first of which is a complete and permanent cease-fire in both provinces of Daraa and Al-Quneitra, while the side of the Syrian opposition, tends to change the committee which represents it and which is in charge of negotiating with the Russians, where a committee of 12 members at least was formed, where they were assigned by the Syrian South operation command.
