Russian warplanes continue to burn Yarmouk Basin while more than 30000 civilians are present in the area and taken as human shields by Jaysh Khalid which swore allegiance to ISIS

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: violent air and missile strikes continue on areas controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid –which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization– in the Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the flight of a squadron of helicopters and Russian warplanes in the sky of the area, where they targeted by more than 120 air strikes since after midnight of yesterday until now, targeting the towns of Tasil, Sahm al-Golan, Jellin, Adwan, and other places in Yarmouk Basin, amid intense shelling by tens of rocket shells by the regime forces targeting the area, and the air strikes caused major damage to infrastructure in the targeted towns, where the airstrikes have destroyed a whole neighbourhood in Sahm al-Golan town, this insane shelling comes as fears increases for the lives of more than 30000 civilians, who are taken as human shields by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid, where civilians continue to flee the towns which are being burned by the Russians towards border areas with the occupied Syrian Golan.

The Syrian Observatory published last night that the controlled areas of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, in Yarmouk Basin in the western sector of Daraa countryside, witnessed more destruction as a result of the ongoing intensive shelling on the area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces continued their shelling in the hours of today’s evening, Thursday the 19th of July 2018, while the towns of Jilin, Tasil and Saham Al-Golan, witnessed substantial destruction as a result of the bombardment by warplanes and helicopters as well as the rocket and artillery shelling by the regime force and gunmen loyal to them and the factions before they joined to the “reconciliations”, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored bombardment by helicopters targeting areas in Jilin town and the Libyan Company as well as other places in Yarmouk Basin, amid shelling by the regime forces on places in Jilin town and the Libyan Company as well as the areas of Tell Ashtara and Al-Mzayri’a, also the warplanes targeted areas in Saham Al-Golan town, without information about human losses.

In the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, in areas in the vicinity of Jilin town and Tell Ashtara at the eastern outskirts of the controlled areas of the army which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, and reliable sources confirmed to the SOHR that 11 members at least of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, were killed in this attack which they carried out in order to achieve advancement, after they managed to take the control of the entire controlled areas of the opposition factions in Daraa province, whether through “reconciliations” or through military operations, and the violent fighting and the exchange of shelling also resulted in the fall of other human losses of casualties and wounded, in the ranks of the both parties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published hours ago, that the province of Daraa still embraces another faction, which is Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization, where it is in control of about 15 villages and towns in Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa, at the border with Jordan and the occupied Syrian Golan, where the regime forces are preparing for carrying out a military operation against this army, in the next days, while the Syrian Observatory monitored aerial and rocket shelling which targeted areas in the town of Ayn Thakar as well as places in the area of Tal Al-Jumou’, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources that regime’s authorities have reached an agreement with the factions operating in Sheikh Saad area in the countryside of Daraa, based on the return of government institutions, raising the internationally-recognized flag of the regime, and handing over the heavy and medium weapons by the factions operating in the area, and with this agreement about the areas that are controlled by the opposition factions operating in Daraa; the regime forces have been able to completely end the presence of the rebel and Islamic factions from Daraa Province, except for some hills in which groups of members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham are present, where the cities, towns, and villages of Daraa province which used to be under the control of the factions, are now under the control of the regime forces completely, and they have been added either through combat and military operations, or through “reconciliations and settlements” since the 19th of June 2018, while the remaining areas are controlled by Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” Organization in Yarmouk Basin, and still outside of regime forces’-controlled areas, they consist about 7.2% of the area of Daraa Province, where a mobilization is underway to carry out a military operation on the area, which is located in the triangle of Jordan border – the occupied Golan border  – Quneitra and Daraa, also the intense bombardment for the second consecutive day which returned to the area after stopping for 5 days, coincides with the continuation of the deteriorate of humanitarian situation for more than 30000 civilians, who are trapped in Yarmouk Basin, where Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid continues to prevent them from getting out of its controlled areas and it is taking them as human shields in an attempt to prevent the regime forces from targeting the area, but the regime forces did not carte for the fate of more than 30000 civilians, and bombard the area with tens of missiles and shells, while the Syrian Observatory documented on Tuesday, the 17th of July 2018 that that 2 citizens including a child, were killed as a result of bombardment by a warplane believed to be Russian, which targeted areas in Tasil town which is controlled by Jaysh Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed which pledges allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, in Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa, which resulted in the fall of a number of wounded, also the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that the raids on Tasil are the first raids to target the area of Yarmouk Basin in 5 days after the bombardment which was coincided with the clashes which took place at this time, against the rebel and Islamic factions.
