More casualties raise to 156 at least, the number of people who were killed in the bloodiest attack by the organization in Al-Suwaidaa province
Al-Suwaidaa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the death toll is continuing to increase, as a result of the death of more people affected by the injury they had, in addition to finding more bodies of those who were killed in the most violent and bloodiest attack since the beginning of the Syrian Revolution in Al-Suwaidaa province, where the number of casualties rose to at least 156 persons, they are 62 citizens at least including 9 women and a child, and 94 gunmen most of them are of the people of villages in Al-Suwaidaa countryside, who took up arms to rebel the violent and surprising attack of the “Islamic State” organization, which stretched on a 20-kilo-meter-long front in both eastern and north-eastern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa, today dawn, Wednesday the 25th of July 2018, and the death toll is expected to increase due to the presence of injured cases in serious conditions, and the presence of missing people whose destiny is not known until now, during the organization’s storming on the area, and intersected sources confirmed that the organization abducted a number of citizens and took them to its controlled areas in the north-eastern countryside of Al-Suwaidaa.
In the same context, the violent fighting is continuing between the Pro-regime gunmen and people of Al-Suwaidaa countryside of those who took up arms against the members of the organization on one hand, against the members of the “Islamic State” organization on the other, and confirmed information about the death of more members of organization, also it rose to 38 at least, the number of members of the “Islamic State” organization including the 4 suicide bombers who blew themselves up using explosive belts, all of them were killed in the attacks and clashes in al-Suwaidaa province since the dawn of the 25th of July 2018, amid the ability of the Pro-regime gunmen to advance again and take the control of a number of the villages and positions which they lost in this attack, the SOHR also documented today morning that members of the “Islamic State” organization detonating themselves using explosive belts in the slaughterhouse area, near the vegetable market, al-Mishnaqa roundabout, and al-Najmeh roundabout, all are located in al-Suwaidaa city and in the eastern and northeastern countryside of al-Suwaidaa, which caused material damage and human losses, while tension prevails al-Suwaidaa city and the villages connected its desert from the escalation of attack by ISIS, and the regime forces not being able to re-control them, where the clashes are accompanied by shelling targeted areas of presence of the organization in the countryside of al-Suwaidaa.
