After the execution of about 50 members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid and their families, the file of releasing abductees of al-Suwaidaa hinders and renewed efforts take place between ISIS and the regime to find a new solution

Al-Suwaidaa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the file of abductees of al-Suwaidaa abductees is closed and hindered once more, after the executions that were carried out by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and the “reconciliation” factions west of Daraa, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the hinder of the file of releasing the 30 abductees of al-Suwaidaa, who are 14 women and 16 children abducted by the “Islamic State” organization during its attack on the 21st of July 2018, during which 258 people were killed, they were 142 civilians including 38 children and women, and 116 armed men most of them were gunmen from the countryside of al-Suwaidaa Province who took up arms to repel the attack of the “Islamic State” organization.

The hinder in the release came after executing at least 48 people yesterday Tuesday, the 31st of July 2018 by fighters loyal to the regime and members of the “reconciliation factions”, including 8 women and 2 boys of family members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid, where they tried to exit from Yarmouk Basin towards Hayt area west of Daraa, where they were shot after facilitating their exit from Yarmouk Basin area, while renewed efforts are taking place to reach a solution between the organization and the regime, about the people who were abducted by ISIS from the countryside of al-Suwaidaa; and the remaining members of the organization, their families, and the civilians who are in Yarmouk Valley west of Daraa, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from several reliable sources confirming that negotiations are taking place between the regime forces and the “Islamic State” organization, about an exchange process in the Syrian south, based on the regime forces’ transfer for about 100 members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn al-Walid who remain in Yarmouk Basin; along with about 150 “presumed captive” to the Syrian Desert, to where the “Islamic State” organization is present, in return for the release of the 30 abductees from al-Suwaidaa who 30 persons (14 women and 16 children), and the Syrian Observatory learned that if the negotiations were successful, then the remaining members would be moved to the countryside and the abductees would be handed over to al-Suwaidaa people. These negotiations are taking place concurrently with the finding corpses for several people in Yarmouk Basin area, near the crossing area which leads to areas controlled by the regime forces east of Yarmouk Basin, residents said that they were executed by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and members of “the reconciliation factions”, also the negotiations come in an attempt by the regime forces to end the presence of the organization completely in Daraa province, and complete their deployment in Daraa province, after controlling all villages, towns, and cities by “reconciliation” processes and military operations.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published today that the helicopters and the regime forces continue targeting valleys in the vicinity of Yarmouk Valley in the far southwestern countryside of Daraa, where about 100 members of Jaysh Khalid Ibn, al-Walid which swore allegiance to the “Islamic State” organization, in addition to the presence of hundreds of civilians in the area, where the helicopter renewed the dropping of barrel bombs over the valleys after midnight of yesterday, also the regime forces renewed the rocket shelling by tens of shells since the dawn of Wednesday until now, also The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed aerial and missile shelling targeted the “Islamic State” organization’s areas in the northeastern desert of al-Suwaidaa, where warplanes carried out more raids after midnight of yesterday on places controlled by ISIS in the northeastern countryside of al-Suwaidaa, in conjunction with shelling and targeting carried out by the regime forces and their loyal villager gunmen on the area, while exchange of targeting using heavy and medium machineguns took place on areas south of Khalkhala airport in the countryside of al-Suwaidaa, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them from against other gunmen believed to belong to the “Islamic State” organization, but no information about casualties.
