Rocket shells target the western section of Aleppo city in conjunction with the return of cautious calm to the west of the province after Urem al-Kubra massacre

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an explosive device exploded Saturday morning in a car of a commander in Nour al-Din al-Zenki movement in al-Atareb town in the western countryside of Aleppo which injured him, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a woman in the fall of rocket shells launched by the factions yesterday night on places in the towns of Nubl and Zahra, which are inhabited by Shiite citizens in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and the targeting also caused the injury of 4 people including 3 children, and in the same context, the fall of rocket shells continued until after midnight of yesterday on areas at the neighborhoods of Nile Street, Halab al-Jadidah, and Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a in the western section of Aleppo city, which is under the control of the regime forces, while Aleppo countryside is witnessing a cautious calm since after midnight of yesterday, after the violent exchange of shelling, that took place yesterday night in the western suburbs of Aleppo and its northern countryside.

The Syrian Observatory published last night that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the rise of the human casualties in Urem al-Kubra town in the western sector of Aleppo, where it rose to 18 at least, including a displaced family, a man, his wife and 5 of his children, the number of people who were killed in a massacre carried out by warplanes which targeted by successive strikes areas in the town, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and because there is information about other casualties, while the regime forces shelled Friday evening places in Mansoura town and Jam’eyyat al-Rahhal in the western countryside of Aleppo, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored exchange of shelling in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where more than 5 shells launched by the factions landed on places in the towns of Nubl and Zahra, which are inhabited by Shiite citizens and caused injuries, also the regime forces shelled areas in the towns of Huraytan, Anadan, Byanun, and another areas in the town of Kafr Hamra northwest of Aleppo, the regime forces also shelled places Khalsa area in the southern countryside of Aleppo. And in Aleppo city the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes in the contact areas at Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a west of Aleppo city, between the factions against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, accompanied by exchange of shelling between both parties, also more than 12 rocket shells fell over on in Hamdaniya and Halab al-Jadidah neighborhoods in the western part of Aleppo city, which are under the control of the regime forces, but no information about casualties, also the regime forces brought a major military reinforcement to the outskirts and suburbs of Aleppo city.
