After dropping barrel bombs over the area, the regime forces shell again the northern countryside of Hama and raise the number of shells to about 1915 in 35 days

Hama Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: areas in the northern countryside of Hama were shelled by the regime forces, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces targeting by more artillery and rocket shells areas in the villages of al-Arba’in, Zakat, M’aarkbeh, located in the northern countryside of Hama, raising to about 1914, the number of artillery and rocket shells that were launched by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them to, targeting areas in the northern, northeastern, and northwestern countryside of Hama during the last 35 days, where the rocket and artillery shelling targeted the villages and towns of the northern countryside of Hama such as al-Lataminah, Hasraya, Zakat, al-Janabera “al-Bana”, M’aarkbeh, al-Sayyad, Tal Osman, Hawash, and several other areas in this countryside.

It is noteworthy that these shelling -which was monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights- caused several casualties and wounded in the areas were the shells fell, also the intense shelling which varied between today and the other caused more destruction in the above-mentioned villages and towns, which had previously witnessed similar and more violent shelling, which caused considerable destruction and serious material damage to the citizens’ property, infrastructure, public, and private facilities, as well as hundreds of casualties and wounded, where the shelling increases when violent clashes or major attacks erupt between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities against the rebel and Islamic factions.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed bombardment which targeted areas in the northern sector of Hama countryside, where the SOHR monitored bombardment by warplanes which targeted areas in Kafr Zita town, along with bombardment by helicopters on areas in the vicinity of Al-Arba’in village, which caused further material damage, and this is the 3rd round of airstrikes to target Hama countryside, where helicopters targeted today noon, Friday the 10th of August 2018, areas in Al-Lataminah town followed by bombardment by warplanes on areas in Kafr Zita, and the bombardment which caused material damage to the property of the citizens, while no information about casualties was reported.
