Hundreds of families displace from the south of Idlib along with the ongoing bombardment by explosive barrels and shells for the 5th consecutive day which left tens of casualties and wounded

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the regime forces renewed their targeting to areas in both southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the regime forces targeted places in the areas of Al-Khwaiyn, Al-Taman’aa, Sakiyyat, northern Al-Mushayrifa, and Al-Jadu’ Farm, without information about human losses, followed by bombardment by helicopters by explosive barrels on Al-Tah town and other areas in Idlib countryside, accompanied by clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic factions, in an attack by the regime forces on the area, and this bombardment comes within the ongoing escalation by the regime forces for the 5th consecutive day, after bringing reinforcements in the past few days to both Idlib and Hama countryside, which resulted in displacement of citizens from the villages and towns of Im Jalal, Abu Habba, Al-Khwaiyn, Sukayk, Al-Ferja, Al-Raffah, Al-Halba and other areas of both southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, where the SOHR monitored the displacement of hundreds of families, towards areas far from the shelling, and the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that explosions shook areas in the southern countryside of Idlib province, caused by renewed shelling for the 5th consecutive day on villages, towns, and cities in this countryside, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored launching tens of shells by the regime forces on areas in the villages of Om al-Khalakhil, and al-Tinah and other areas in the villages of al-Zarzour, al-Mshirfah, and al-Lwibdeh in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with dropping barrel bombs by the helicopter on areas in Om al-Khalakhil village, where the Syrian Observatory monitored the dropping of about 16 barrel bombs on areas in Om al-Khalakhil village, which caused material damage but no information about casualties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the rise in number casualties caused by the shelling by the regime forces on areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, where it rose to 3, the number of people who were killed and whose death was documented by the Syrian Observatory, of who were killed today Monday, the 13th of August of 2018, and the casualties are: a woman and a child were killed in shelling on Tahtaya town, and a child was killed in shelling by the regime forces on areas in the al-Tah town, and the shelling also injured several people, and the renewed shelling on the area comes after 4 days of the massacres which were committed by warplanes and helicopters, where the Syrian Observatory documented on the 10th of August 2018, the death of 13 civilians, they were: 10 citizens including 1 child and 3 women were killed in Khan Shaykhun massacre, and 3 citizens including 2 children were killed in the aerial bombardment on al-Tah town, and the Syrian Observatory monitored shelling by about 115 raids and barrel bombs, carried out by Russian warplanes and helicopters of the regime, which caused considerable destruction after targeting Orem al-Kubra in the western sector of Aleppo, and the towns and cities of Khan Shaykhun, al-Tah, al-Tamanah, Sukayk, Tal Aas, Tahtaya, Om Jalal, and other areas in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib.
