After 2 meetings in Jisr Al-Shughur and Hama countryside…the Turkish forces call for a meeting in the eastern countryside of Idlib to discuss “the recent developments in Idlib”
Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information reporting that the Turkish forces stationed in their observation posts, in Sarman area, in the eastern sector of Idlib countryside, called for a meeting in Jarjnaz area, where they will held a meeting in the area, after the meeting they held in Jisr Al-Shughur area with representatives of the area, where the Turkish forces informed the representatives of the area that the violations that are being carried out by the regime forces in the triangle of Sahl al-Ghab – Lattakia Mountains – Jisr al-Shughur, will be discussed in suitable time, and as long as the Turkish forces are presented in the area, there are no reasons for fears of a military operation by the regime, and they will adopt measures to prevent it, and that Turkey will not allow the regime forces to enter the area, they also promised to provide services including the electricity, to Jisr Al-Shughur area.
And the Syrian Observatory published on Wednesday, the 15th of August 2018, that Turkey has brought trucks loaded with concrete blocks and prefabricated rooms, in order to encircle and fortify the 12 Turkish observation posts spread in Aleppo, Idlib, Hama, and the stretch of the foothills of Lattakia Mountains, amid information about a meeting that was held today, Wednesday, between dignitaries from Idlib countryside and between the Turkish forces in Sarman post, and sources said that this meeting was held in order to inform the locals that the regime has no intentions to carry out a military operation, and it is also coincided at the same time with mobilizations by the regime forces and bringing military reinforcements of hundreds of vehicles carrying hundreds of members, in addition to materiel, ammunition, vehicles and armored vehicles, to the outskirts of the factions’ areas of presence in Idlib, Hama, Lattakia and Aleppo, as a sign by the regime forces about an anticipated military operation, that aims to achieve advancement into Idlib province, after the inhabitants of Kafriya and Al-Fu’ah were completely evacuated within an agreement between Tahrir Al-Sham and the factions of Idlib and between the regime authorities.
