Violent fighting erupts between members of the organization against the SDF in the vicinity of the largest oilfield in the east of the Euphrates River as a result of an attack on the area

Dei Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: explosions rocked areas in the eastern sector of Deir ezzor countryside, intersected sources said that they were caused by an attack of members of the “Islamic State” organization on the area of Al-Omar Oilfield, where the organization is seeking to inflict the largest possible number of casualties and wounded in the ranks of the Syria Democratic Forces, through targeting operations and clashes, and the clashes were accompanied by the overflight of International Coalition’s warplanes over the area, and no information about casualties was reported yet, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained information from reliable sources, today morning Friday the 17th of August 2018, confirming that warplanes believed to belong to the International Coalition targeted al-Susah town in the last enclave of ISIS east of Euphrates River in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which caused the death and injury of a large number of ISIS members, where the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of at least 18 members of the “Islamic State” organization, the majority of whom were of non-Syrian nationalities, as a result of the airstrikes that targeted their place in the town inside this besieged enclave, also several others were injured due to the airstrikes which also caused damage and destruction in the property of citizens and infrastructure, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and the shelling and killing coincided with the surrender of about 15 ISIS members -the majority of whom are of non-Syrian nationalities- to the Syria Democratic Forces, at the outskirts of Hajin area, after fleeing the “Islamic State” organization’s controlled areas, which is witnessing the entry and exit of food trucks and families wishing to flee.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published on the 15th of August 2018 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued processes of entry and exit from and to the enclave which is controlled by the “Islamic State” organization at the eastern banks of the Euphrates River, where more trucks entered the controlled areas of the organization, carrying more foodstuffs, along with the exit of more families towards the controlled areas of the Syria Democratic Forces in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, that the International Coalition Forces and the Syria Democratic Forces are still continuing their preparations for starting a large-scale military operation against the final enclave of the “Islamic State” organization east of Euphrates River, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, to end its existence in the entire east of Euphrates after taking over this enclave, which consists of the villages and towns of Hajin, al-Susah, al-Shafa, Baghuz, and the areas between them, and this rapid preparation comes as families continue to leave the enclave that is still under the control of the Organization, to areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces through al-Sha’fa crossing, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the exit of Yazidi family through al-Sha’fa crossing who was within the enclave, where the family managed to escape and find a way out of ISIS enclave and reached the Syria Democratic Forces’ controlled areas, and in the past few days tens of Syrians and non-Syrian families have gotten out towards areas controlled by Syria Democratic Forces, where the non-Syrian families are being transferred to camps of the Syria Democratic Forces and under their control, while the Syrian families are allowed to leave to the villages of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
