In conjunction with the preparations for the battle of Idlib…sleeper cells and unidentified assailants continue to escalate the security chaos in Idlib through carrying out more assassinations attempts and murders

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued security chaos in Idlib province, as a result of the factions’ continued failure to control the security system, as a result of expanding the scope of the cells which carry out assassinations, detonations and abductions, most of which are of the “Islamic State” organization, where tens of its members and of the other cells operating in the same scope, have killed and executed many people, during separated targeting operations which targeted citizens, fighters and commanders of Syrian nationalities and of other Arab, regional and Asian nationalities, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the injury of a man and his daughter in Al-Hbit town, in the southern countryside of Idlib, after being shot by unidentified gunmen on the road to Kafr Sajna town in the same countryside.

The Syrian Observatory published 72 hours ago, that the security operations of the sleeper cells are distributed between direct targeting by gunfire, detonating booby trapped vehicles, or planting IEDs near checkpoints in several places, where these cells try to inflict the largest possible number of human losses, whose number exceeded hundreds during the assassinations which have escalated since April 2018, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the death of a member believed to be Turkish, of the factions operating in Salqin area in the northern countryside of Idlib, which raised the number of casualties to 284,  the number of people who were assassinated in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 55 civilians including 8 children and 6 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 197 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 30 fighters of Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways since the 26th of April 2018, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization.
