As the grand battle of Idlib approaches…Al-Asa’ib Al-Hamra’ led by Abu al-Yaqzan al-Masri, the Turkistanis and the National Liberation Front send reinforcements to Lattakia Mountains and Sahl Al-Ghab

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored movements by the rebel and Islamic factions operating in Idlib province and the areas of the middle and west of Syria, along with the regime’s preparations for the expected military operation in Idlib province, where the SOHR monitored the Islamic Party of Turkestan sending military reinforcements composed of tens of vehicles carrying tens of fighters to the northern mountains of Lattakia, along with the arrival of the groups of Al-Asa’ib Al-Hamra’ (the Red Bands) of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, and the Syrian Observatory also monitored the arrival of reinforcements of al-Maghawir forces, the Unit 82, and the Special Forces of the National Liberation Front, in the fronts of Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, and the fronts of the north-eastern mountains of Lattakia, where they were distributed to the contact lines with the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, and intersected sources confirmed that the pace of preparations is increasing amid suggestions about the fact that the announcement of the military operation approached even more.

The reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that the groups of Al-Asa’ib Al-Hamra’ are one of the sections of the Elite Forces in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, and they are characterized by putting on red headbands, and they are led by prominent commanders in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham one of whom is Abu al-Yaqzan al-Masri, who supervises a training camp of the forces of Al-Asa’ib Al-Hamra’, and they are the main groups which took part in the fighting against Nour al-Din al-Zenki Movement in the western countryside of Aleppo, in the first third of 2018, in which Abu al-Yaqzan was a direct and prominent opponent of the repel factions with Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, while the SOHR published 5 days ago, that Abu al-Yaqzan al-Masri and another leader, intersected sources confirmed that he is the leader of the Desert Sector in Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, were subjected to shooting by unidentified gunmen in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and the assassination attempt injured one of them at least.

And the SOHR obtained a copy of a video months ago, showing a commander in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, called “Abu Al-Yaqazan Al-Masri”, a commander of the rebel attack of Tahrir Al-Sham, while he was delivering a speech to a group of fighters of the Hayyaat during the fighting  and saying that “O, People of Al-Sham, Allah has honored you to witness the fighting against the Americans, the Russians, the apostates of Bashar Army, those who spread corruption in the lands, the Khawarij, and the corrupts. The end is near and the ranks are becoming clear, and the fighting will continue until this area turns back to a battlefield against the infidels. Noor Al-Din Al-Zenki Movement didn’t open a new battlefront and it sent 40 fighters to a position in Skaik area, but they withdrew after 10 days. The weapons were obtained to be used in Jihad and kept stored for a year and will come out to be used in Jihad, tanks, tracked vehicles, warehouses of Ahrar Al-Sham became under our control and the Jihad in the Levant is a faith, don’t lose it”.

The Syrian Observatory also published today, the 27th of August 2018, that the regime forces and the Russian military police have begun the second phase of preparations for the military operation in Idlib province, where after bringing military reinforcements, fortifying and shielding, the regime forces closed the crossings between their controlled areas and the factions’ controlled areas in Idlib province including Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where the regime forces closed Abu al-Duhur military crossing days after opening it and the crossing of hundreds of citizens towards regime forces’-controlled areas in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, which was supervised by the Russian military police, clamping down on the civilians within the factions’ controlled areas who are afraid of the military operation that threatens the lives of the civilians living in Idlib province, also dlib province and its surroundings are from the countryside of both Aleppo and Hama has 4 main crossing points between the factions’ controlled areas and regime forces’-controlled areas, namely: the crossings of Morek and Qal’aat al-Madiq which are used as civilian and commercial crossings, Abu al-Duhur crossing which is being used under the supervision of the Russian military police as an entry point to regime forces’-controlled areas without exit, and al-Eis crossing in the southern countryside of Aleppo which is used as a crossing for the passage of trucks to and from areas of control of the factions and the regime forces, while this tightening and trapping the area more by the regime forces, comes with continuous arrival of reinforcement the contact lines between the regime forces and the factions, in the section extending from the northern countryside of Latakia to the southern countryside of Aleppo, through Sahl al-Ghab and in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, where the reinforcements including equipment, weapons, armored vehicles, machinery, ammunition, and members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and fighters of the “reconciliation” factions.
