Islamic State opens what so called “the door of repentance” in the town of al- Bsiri in Deir Ezzor

 

Reliable sources informed SOHR that Islamic State organization in the town of al- Bsiri, located in the east of Deir Ezzor, has opened “the door of repentance” by order of “Wali of al- Khayr State” for the fighters of al- Nusra Front, rebel and Islamic battalions, as well as all those who fought Islamic State. The sources confirmed that the Organization has excluded the brigade of al- Ahwaz which fought both of the regime forces and Islamic State  in Deir Ezzr, and when IS militants seized most areas in the peovince of Deir Ezzor the Brigade left the province and went to al- Qalamoun in Rif Dimashq. 

 

10 days ago, Islamic State Organization in the province of al- Forat issued a statement; SOHR received a copy of it, reported “pursuant to Emir al- Muemenin instructions Allah bless and guide him to right, we open the repentance door for those who fight Islamic State in order to reuniting with their families, accordingly we declared to open the door of repentance in the city of al- Bokamal for the Free Army factions, al- Jabha al- Islameyya, al- Jolani Front and the regime Sunni soldiers.”

 

“The repentance is under the following conditions:

  • The person must confess to “apostasy”
  • To undergo Sharia course
  • To enroll for training camps to go to battlefronts
  • To give all information that he has.
  • To hand over all weapons that he has”, The statement added.

“For everybody who wants to repent under the above conditions, he is going to be safe and he is going to be dealt like all members in Islamic State, note that this repentance includes those who fought IS or those who lived in Turkey but it does not the leaders of rebel factions at all”, the statement concluded.
