For the second consecutive day fears escalate from fighting in al-Suwaidaa province in conjunction with regime’s advancement at the account of ISIS

Al-Suwaidaa and its countryside are witnessing mounting increased tension against the background of finding a beheaded head without a body on Wednesday morning for a person who is believed to be one of the Bedouin of al-Suwaidaa, where unknown people placed the head in the courtyard of a mosque in al-Suwaidaa city, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the continuation of tension and fears of fighting in the province after this incident, where yesterday the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Monitored the people in al-Suwaidaa city finding the head of a person without his corpse cut and thrown in the city, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: citizens found the head of a person beheaded and separated from his body but without finding the body, this happened this morning, the 29th of August 2018, the local sources confirmed that the head which was put in the courtyard of a mosque in al-Moqawwas neighborhood in al-Suwaidaa city; believed to belong to one of the abducted people of the tribesmen living in the countryside of al-Suwaidaa, who was abducted a while ago in the western countryside of al-Suwaidaa, which sparked tension in al-Suwaidaa city where this is the first incident of its kind in the province, and what mad the people more angry was the fact that the one who placed the head in the courtyard of the mosque had written phrases that encourage the “hatred and fighting” according to the local sources.

In the same context, the clashes continue at a violent pace in areas in Tlul al-Safa, located in Rif Dimashq at the administrative border with al-Suwaidaa countryside, between the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in a continuation for the attack by the last mentioned on the area, where they had achieved several advancement during the past hours, where the regime forces were able to advance with missile cover and control sites and several points, which enabled them to go deep into several areas that are still under the control of the organization in the area, where the desert of Rif Dimashq located at the administrative border al-Suwaidaa countryside, witnessed the continuation of military operations this morning by the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them at the expense the “Islamic State” organization, where the violent clashes continue between both parties in places in Tlul al-Safa area, in order for the regime forces to achieve more advancement and to end the presence of the organization in the area, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new advancement for the regime forces represented by controlling new sites of the northeastern part of the area, with cover of intensive and continuous rocket shelling, and the clash caused more casualties in the ranks of both parties, amid information that the regime forces were able to capture a member of the organization during their advancement process.

And with the fall of more casualties it rose to 178, the number of ISIS members who have been killed in the bombings, shelling and clashes since the 25th of July 2018, while it rose to at least 65, the number of members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them who were killed in the same period, also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the attack of ISIS in Al-Suwaidaa countryside on the 25th of July 2018, the death of about 142 citizens including 38 women and children, in addition to the killing of 116 people, the majority of whom were of the gunmen villagers who carried the gun to repel the organization’s attack, and a 19-year-old boy was executed by ISIS after being kidnapped along with about 30 others, and a woman died when she was held by ISIS in conditions that still vague so far.
