ISIS attacks the regime forces in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and rocket shelling targets positions of the organization

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored violent clashes in areas in the desert of Al-Asharah, Subakhan and al-Dwayr in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, between the “Islamic State” organization against the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, in an attack by the former on positions of the latter in the area, accompanied by exchange of targeting between the both parties, the regime forces also shelled places in the vicinity of the bread furnace of Al-Susah and Al-Hasheem alley, which resulted in the death of a citizen woman and the fall of wounded, in addition to causing material damage to the property of the citizens.

On the other hand, clashes took place in areas in the vicinity and outskirts of Hajin town, which is located in the east of Deir Ezzor, between the Syria Democratic Forces and the International Coalition on one hand, against the “Islamic State” organization on the other, amid rocket shelling by the International Coalition and the SDF on positions of the organization in the area, without information about casualties so far, and the SOHR published in the past few hours, that it monitored the renew of intensive bombardment by the International Coalition, targeted areas in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor during the past 24 hours, where strikes of the Coalition targeted al-Azraq Field area, and targeted locations of members of the “Islamic State” organization who attacked the area, where violent clashes took place between them and the Syria Democratic Forces, accompanied with intense exchange of targeting between both parties which caused confirmed casualties in the ranks of both parties, also, the reliable sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that these clashes were accompanied by more mobilization by the International Coalition and the Syria Democratic Forces in the vicinity of Hajeem area and the ISIS-controlled enclave, in preparation for the military operation against the organization and end its presence in the whole east of Euphrates.

And the Syrian Observatory monitored new movements by the International Coalition, in the vicinity of ISIS last enclave in the east of the Euphrates River, where intersected sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory that Forces of the Coalition had moved one of their mobile bases to a place near Hajin area within this ISIS enclave, in preparation for the start of the military operation of the International Coalition Forces and the Syria Democratic Forces against ISIS, to end its presence in the entire east of Euphrates River, where the organization is no longer a dominant force  except in the enclave located on the east bank of the river, which includes 4 towns: Hajin, al-Susah, al-Shafa, and al-Baghuz, where these preparations come after the Syria Democratic Forces and the Forces of the International Coalition increased their points of presence in the vicinity of this enclave, and this new move comes in the wake of massive military mobilization, and bringing military reinforcements of hundreds of soldiers and hundreds of vehicles, armored vehicles, machines, and ammunitions, to completely end the presence of the Organization, following repeated failures in breaking in the enclave, as a result of the violent repelling of the attack by the Organization which is in control of this enclave, while the International Coalition had frequently dropped leaflets on areas controlled by the organization, calling civilians to displace and ISIS members to surrender, and after al-Sha’fa crossing was opened and the entry of aid and foodstuffs into ISIS enclave, and the displacement of tens of families of ISIS members, where the non-Syrians were relocated to camps under the control of the Syria Democratic Forces, while the Syrian families were allowed to go out towards other areas of Deir Ezzor Province.
