Despite large demonstrations and in conjunction with military mobilization, the regime forces renew their violations of the fragile Russian – Turkish truce on its 18th day in Syria

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the regime forces violating again the Russian – Turkish truce on its 18th consecutive day, as the truce -despite the continued violations- is underway within its areas in the provinces of Idlib, Hama, Latakia, and Aleppo, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored during the last night artillery shelling by the regime forces targeted places in M’aarkbeh area located in the northern countryside of Hama, which caused material damage but no information about casualties, these violations come despite of the demonstrations monitored by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in many areas controlled by the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Aleppo, Hama, and Idlib, which took place yesterday, the 31st of August 2018, where tens of thousands of people demonstrated condemning the cold and silent International attitude towards the regime forces’ preparations for an attack on Idlib, that threatens that real massacres will be carried out, demanding an effective movement prevents these expected massacres, also demonstrators attacked the UN envoy to Syria Stefan Demistura describing him as a “liar”, they also denounced regime’s preparations for a major operation with Russian support against Idlib province and its surroundings, and numerous civic parties participated in the demonstrations, and the people raised anti-regime, allies, and Russian banners and slogans, and the demonstrations included the cities, towns and villages of Aleppo, Hama and Idlib which are ((Idlib city, Jisr al-Shughur, Sarmada, Saraqeb, Jarjnaz, Kafr Rumah, Maarrat Misrin, Harem, Al-Tah, Maarrat Al-Shalf , Kafr Oweid, Ma’aratahrama Hazarin, Binnish, Al-Bashiriyya, Al-Shughur, Hizano, Hass, Khan Shaykhun, al-Dana, al-Hbit, Ariha, Kafr Dayyan, Nayrab, Atma, Salqin, Kurin, Armanaz, Qah and ‘aidun Camps, Basmes, Joseph, Maarrat al-Nu’man, al-Ghadqa, Marshourin, Kafr Nubl, and Kelli in the countryside of Idlib Province, Murak in the northern countryside of Hama, and al-Atareb, al-Bab, Azaz, Darat Azza, al-Eis, Kafr Halab, al-Zerba, Anadan, Batbu, Anjarah, Marea’, Jarabulus, Bizaah, Ibbin and Afrin in the countryside of Aleppo))

The Syrian Observatory published last night, that tens of local councils announced the launch of “the popular campaign for supporting those who are stationed in the fronts” through a statement, of which the Syrian Observatory received a copy, where the councils called through their statement, for supporting those who are stationed in the fronts, and for getting out in overwhelming demonstrations tomorrow, Friday the 31st of August 2018, calling for standing side by side with those who are stationed in the fronts against the planned battle that the regime forces are preparing for in Idlib province, and the local councils included the towns and villages of ((Deir Hassan, Afs, Aqrapat, Jobas, Kafr Battikh, Maar Shamarin, Tell Mannas, Tell Touqan, Kafar Yahmoule, Maarrat Misrin, arjnaz, Tell Sultan, Barissa, Al-Mushrifah al-Dhahabiyah, Masada, Zardana, Sarmada, Al-Rayyan, Khan Al-Sabil, Khan Shaykhun, Shalkh and other towns and villages))

And these demands were coincided with the continued processes of the regime forces to distribute and deploy the military reinforcements which are arriving consecutively to the contact areas, as a part of the grand battle of Idlib which the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them are being prepared for, and the regime forces published hours ago, that as time passes and the regime forces’ military operation and the grand battle of Idlib approach, the unprecedented mobilization is continuing for a battle in which the majority of the military power operates on the Syrian land, is suggested to participate, after the control of the Syrian opposition decreased and after it was confined within large spaces of the northern countryside of Hama, Sahl Al-Ghab, areas in the north-west of Hama, parts of the northern mountains of Lattakia, the western countryside of Aleppo, and spaces of the southern countryside of Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored in the recent weeks, that the regime forces brought massive military reinforcements, represented by bringing tens of thousands of members of the forces of their army and gunmen loyal to them, and the SOHR learned from a number of intersected sources that the regime forces have deployed more than 2000 armored vehicles on the contact lines extended from the northern mountains of Lattakia to the eastern countryside of Idlib passing through Sahl Al-Ghab, the northern countryside of Hama and the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, amid intensifying the positions and guard posts, and preparing their members for a grand battle through which they aim to advance at the expense of the factions and take the control of the largest possible area, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored the arrival of hundreds of fighters, as well, of the opposition factions which joined in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus, the capital Damascus, and the provinces of Daraa and Al-Quneitra to the “reconciliation and settlements”, after the regime forces imposed their control over the factions’ areas, thus, the fighters of the opposition who fight previously against the regime forces, fight today in the side of the regime forces within the battle of Idlib, while the SOHR monitored that the regime forces are transferring more of their forces to the contact lines and fronts of clashes against the rebel and Islamic factions, Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, and the Turkestani Islamic Party starting from the northern mountains of Latakia to southern countryside of Aleppo, and the dispatch of members is mainly focused to the fronts of the southeastern countryside of Idlib with Sahl al-Ghab, while the regime forces are transferring members of the newly recruited members to calm fronts, in conjunction with transferring their members to the contact lines in preparation for the grand battle of Idlib.
