Idlib city and its eastern and northern countryside witness 5 explosions leaving several injuries within the continuous security chaos in the province and its surroundings

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: security chaos continues to dominate the scene in Idlib province and the countryside of areas controlled by the rebel and Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Right monitored the explosion of two IEDs simultaneously, on the road between Idlib city and Sarmin town, which injured several people including a woman, also an improvised explosive device was found in car parked near al-Jala’a park in Idlib city, but it exploded while it was being dismantled, which caused serious injury to one of the dismantling members, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on Saturday, the 1st of September 2018, the explosion of an IED in a car of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in Saraqib town which caused injuries, while an explosion shook in the morning of Saturday, the 1st September 2018, al-Daana town north of Idlib, it was probably caused by a car explosion in the town which injured 4 people, while the Syrian Observatory published yesterday, Friday, that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored unknown gunmen kidnapping a Syrian doctor, who is the director of the specialist hospital in Idlib city on Thursday evening from the front of his home in the city, and he was returned hours after he was abducted and had marks of torture in a several areas of his body, but no information about the identity of the abductees and the reasons behind it. This kidnapping comes in the shadow of the security chaos in Idlib province, which is controlled by the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, also the province witnessed abductions, torture, and assassinations of several doctors in the province, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday Thursday, that the security chaos is continuing in Idlib province, and the countryside controlled by the Islamic factions and Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, in the vicinity of the province, which started to escalate on the 26th of Arpil 2018, through killing by detonating IEDs or by gunfire up to abduction or disappearance, where the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the sound of a violent explosion in Idlib city, caused by detonating an IED, near Al-Sa’aa roundabout in Idlib city, which targeted a vehicle of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham, which resulted in the injury of 2 Turkistani members, one of them have injured seriously, while the Syrian Observatory published last night, that a violent explosion rocked an area in Salqin city in the north-western sector of Idlib countryside, caused by detonating an IED, which caused material damage, without information about casualties, and this detonation comes within the series of the ongoing assassinations and assassinations attempts which target citizens and Syrian and non-Syrian fighters and commanders, in order to inflict more human losses, where the Syrian Observatory has documented since the 26th of April 2018, the death of 290 persons who were assassinated in Idlib countryside and both Aleppo and Hama countryside, they are the wife of an Uzbek commander and his son, in addition to 57 civilians including 9 children and 6 women, of who were assassinated through bomb explosions, IED detonations, shooting, abduction, murder and then throwing the bodies in remote areas, and 201 fighters of Syrian nationality belong to Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, al-Sham Corps, the Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham, Jaysh al-Izza, and other factions operating in Idlib, and 30 fighters of Uzbek, Asian, Gulf, Jordanian and Caucasian nationalities have been assassinated in the same ways, also the assassination attempts have injured tens of people with varying severity, while the factions stepped up their raids and operations against sleeper cells they accused of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the escalation of these assassinations since the 26th of April 2018, where it completed its 4th consecutive month on the 26th of August 2018, where most of the assassinations were carried out in by sleeper cells of the “Islamic State” Organization, which began to be active following the end of their presence in Idlib and the eastern countryside of Hama, where assassinations were carried out by various means, from gunfire to detonation of explosive devices, booby-trapped motorcycles and cars, abduction, slaughter, and hanging corpses, the assassinations were carried out in Idlib city and its eastern, western, northern and southern countryside, as well as the western countryside of Aleppo, the northern sector of Hama and mountains of Latakia, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored the failure of factions operating in the countryside of Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama to control the security chaos, despite the security operations which contributed to the arrest of tens of people on charges of belonging to the “Islamic State” organization, and the arrest, executions, and killing of tens of members who belong to these cells during security operations in the areas where the security chaos is spread; some of them were executed immediately after being arrested and others were executed after interrogation, while some were killed during the clashes when raiding headquarters of these cells which belong to the “Islamic  State” organization, where it rose to 75 at least, the number of members of ISIS and these cells who have been killed since the end of April 2018, of Syrian, Iraqi, and other non-Syrian nationalities, including at least 36 where executed by slaughtering them or directly shooting them, while the rest were killed during raids and exchange of gunfire between these cells and members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham in the areas of Salqin, Sarmin, Sahel al-Rouj and several other areas in the countryside of Idlib.
