After hours of the calm which followed intensive killing and unprecedented breach to the Russian – Turkish truce…the regime forces return to carry out more breaches in Aleppo, Hama and Lattakia
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the return of violations to the Russian – Turkish truce along with completing its 3 consecutive week in the provinces of Aleppo, Hama, Idlib and Lattakia, where the SOHR monitored shelling by the regime forces on areas in Sahl Al-Ghab, in the north-western countryside of Hama, and shelling which targeted areas in Al-Lataminah town, in the northern countryside of Hama, in conjunction with shelling on areas in the northern countryside of Lattakia, which caused further material damage, while no information was reported yet about casualties, the SOHR also monitored shelling by the regime forces on areas in the outskirts of Al-Gharbiyah city, where the shelling targeted areas in Al-Rashideen Suburb, near the area of Khan al-Asal, along with artillery targeting to areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, the Syrian Observatory also monitored the sound of gunfire believed to be caused by opening fire of heavy machineguns on the areas of Haritan and Kafr Hamra and their vicinity, and this renewed shelling comes after calm that lasted for hours followed intensive bombardment which left significant human losses, and substantial material damage, where the Syrian Observatory published hours ago, that it monitored the return of calm to the triangle of Sahl al-Ghab – north Lattakia – west Idlib, after intensive raids monitored by the Syrian Observatory since 5:00 pm, today, Tuesday the 4th of September 2018, where the raids targeted Jisr al-Shughur, Frika, Mahmbel, Ein Al-Hamra, Baidar Shamso, al-Lajj, Kafridin, the vicinity of Qastun, the vicinity of al-Sermaniyyeh, the vicinity al-Shegher, Haj Qatrun Farm in the outskirts of Jisr al-Shughur city, Sararif, Ghana, the vicinity of al-Janudiyyeh, Jadraya, Bashlamoun, al-Badriyah, Hersh Bsonqul, Inneb, and in the western countryside of Idlib, and Kabana area and 2 areas in its surrounding in the northeastern countryside of Lattakia, also areas in Sahl Al-Ghab and Jisr Al-Shughur countryside, witnessed artillery shelling by the regime forces, which resulted in the fall of a large number of casualties and caused substantial material damage to the property of the citizens and to the infrastructure.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring during this bombardment, the death of 13 citizens they are: 5 people of one family, as well as a citizen woman, who were killed in a massacre carried out by the Russian warplanes in Jisr Al-Shughur city, a citizen woman who was killed in Baidar Shamso village in Jisr Al-Shughur countryside, a man and his wife as well as 2 other persons who were killed due to raids which targeted areas in the vicinity of Jisr Al-Shughur city, also about 30 persons were injured including women and children, as a result of these raids, which were accompanied by intensive rocket and artillery shelling by the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on the same areas, where the number of raids exceeded 45 raids which targeted the triangle of Sahl al-Ghab – north Lattakia – west Idlib, the SOHR also monitored a displacement movement of tens of families from the villages and towns of Jisr Al-Shughur countryside, towards areas far from the places of targeting, for fear of being targeted by the warplanes and of resulting in the fall of a large number of casualties, and the SOHR published hours ago, that the shelling injured more than 17 fighters with varying severity including fighters of Turkestan, Bosniak and other non-Syrian nationalities, while this violation of the Russian – Turkish truce coincided with shelling by the regime forces on the 21st of the truce, with shelling by the regime forces targeted areas in the towns of Sukayk and Abu Dali in the southern countryside of Idlib.
